Not sure if this is a reference to Deadpool and Wolverine, but if it is, I've got zero interest in that movie or its two predecessors despite being a huge fan of the rest of the XMCU.

And yet created beautiful moments that are well worth the price of admission. And yet I stand by what I said.*
* For the record, I love Tony in general. However, he should not have ever been associated with Spider-Man in any way

That was not my reference. If this is a reference to Infinity War, I genuinely didn't care about Peter getting Blipped because, as noted, I didn't care for Tony and Peter's relationship.
There were so many more powerful 'death moments' from IW that I cared so much more about and was much more affected by.
That was not my reference.
The dynamic between Parker and Stark was great. Improved both characters.Peter Parker doesn't need - and shouldn't have - a mentor.
X-Men tend to be earth centered stories

You pose what's generically called a "wife-beating question."The Shi'ar say hello.
How, ecactly, is a neutered Spider-Man who initially has none of the character's traditional independence or smarts "better"?
Since none of that is an accurate or fair characterization, no answer is necessary and you'll receive none.
Well, their next projects are a film set in an alternate reality where the main characters fight a cosmic villain and a couple of films with a massive crossover featuring characters from other universes. After that we get the X-Men, who as noted are no strangers to the cosmic. So the cosmic side seems safe. And as with previous phases, there will no doubt be grounded films like the Cap and Iron Man ones.I get the impression that the MCU is trying to move away from alternate realities and space stuff and do a return to Earth approach with their stories. Which makes sense to me. A Doctor Strange or Thor movie might be the exceptions. The Guardian stories are over. Captain Marvel failed as a character. Nobody cared about the Eternals. Not much reason to be out in space at this point. X-Men tend to be earth centered stories.
Civil War, Homecoming, Far From Home, and Infinity War took everything that defined Spider-Man as a character and discarded it by first making him Tony's "shadow" and then by making him a lackey of "Fury".

That approach would totally miss the point of X-Men.I get the feeling that since the characters are going to be young will basically see arc of all these mutants eventually coming together to be called X-Men. Sort of how they slowly built up the Avengers.
