That would mess up the turbo lift shafts. That's why I moved them.Okay, if you look at the filming model, the space energy sensors are to either side of the lower pod, and on the inside of the support pylons. Two each, each side.
I thought it was common knowledge that I am crazy?Torpedo launchers on an Oberth?!?!? That's just crazy talk! Love it!
Of coursefor probes, of course :P
Indeed :-)Of course.![]()

Well, yes. But I am trying to convince you all that the Oberth has always been 250m long and it was just a fluky shot that killed the Grissom.Methinks someone at Utopia Planitia learned a hard lesson from the Grissom-Genesis incident.![]()

Very true. People seem to assume that's close to flying a single-person fighter - it's not. These are massive ships that require turning and manoeuvring. It's why they have multiple phaser banks that cover a wide range of angles. The only thing that comes to handling like a fighter is a shuttle, and in Trek they are always flown like they are bricks, lol.It would be a blast.
The real problem is an unrealistic understanding of what Starship combat would be like.
The was giving up, the moment the Bird-of-Prey, started jamming, and no, it wasn't raspberry.
The only joy from that scene was Kruge executing the sloppy gunner for his "lucky shot" and calling him an "animal"Very true. What happened to the Grissom was pure and simple exposition. I almost feel sorry for them...
I do all my work on my laptop. The last time I actually used a desktop for my artwork or anything else it annoyed me.Well, this was the state of the new Laptop yesterday -

All built, pretty much all loaded up. And no, it hasn't tried to kill me yet lol
More tomorrow.
I had a MAX trial but atm it's too far out of my budget to actually afford. And I have a lot of MAX models I never got around to converting.I broke the bezel - should have followed the instructions. A replacement is on the way. But so far, so good. I have a decent desktop PC, which does all the heavy lifting and 3D work. The laptop is more of a sidekick for when I need to be mobile (like hospital, how many times this year?) or plan on doing lengthy written stuff. In theory, I could install 3DS Max on the new laptop... But I need to keep it simple. Less distracting, so when I write, I write. But I don't think you guys and gals will begrudge me taking some time out to get it set up :-)
I find that very probing.for probes, of course :P
I was gifted 3DS Max by my dad many years back. One of the last things he did for me.I had a MAX trial but atm it's too far out of my budget to actually afford. And I have a lot of MAX models I never got around to converting.
I am so used to working on my laptop that using a desktop takes some adjusting but I manage. Just prefer being on my laptop.
That's what he said.I find that very probing.
That may be a little too much for this ship...Don’t forget the reverse-facing wave motion gun.![]()
