Whatever his initial excuse was for always showing up we now know he always comes hoping another musical breaks out. When not the ship he spend hours upon hours doing private karaoke all in the hopes the universe will somehow make him sing his version or Journey's "Don't Stop Believen' " in front of the crew!

No, I think it's an all new set I remember hearing about ages ago when they were filming season 3. Pretty sure there was an article written up about it. Something about water in the floor.

Only 35? Are you sure you measured Sam's moustache and both of Spock's eyebrows?

Indeed, it actually appears Sam's moustache is more canonically accurate this season to the stache Shatner had in Operation Annihilate. Spock's eyebrows are among the thirty-five I've listed, but to be fair, Spock's eyebrows have been fucked up canonically speaking ever since WNMHGB and at this point the inconsistency is the consistency.
