HmIIRC Rigel mission in 2254 was referred to as 5 years ago. The Klingon war that ended in 2257 was said to be 2 years ago. And Im sure Uhura mentions that everything thats happened to her on the Enterprise was all "this year"
I could be wrong but Im sure the season dated itself as 2259.
It could be retconned with no consequences. Maybe it ticked over to 2260 during season 2 and theres like a 9 month timeskip for repairs and recovery following the Gorn troubles.Hm
I wonder if that was an oversight, or yeah maybe a time skip
It reminds me of the Dreamship Surprise NCC-6969 bridge

Jörg thinks the sign behind the (possible) Edosian says United Federation of Planets Centennial
Which if accurate, would place the season in 2261

It seems we're going to experience the United Federation of Planets Centennial in #StarTrekSNW season 3, so it must be set in 2261! :-) Oh, is that an Edosian barkeeper? :-)bsky.app
Which does line up with it being 2 years after Season 1, which was in 2259
Gangster planet was part of the pitch, IIRC. So it was literally a "selling point.""A Piece of the Action" and "Shore Leave" were never Star Trek's main selling points or greatest strengths.
Yeah, it was so they could use the already existing NYC standing set and save a crapload of money for the episode.Gangster planet was part of the pitch, IIRC. So it was literally a "selling point."![]()
YesIsn't that the film where the ship looks like a penis-and-testicles version of Voyager?
Sorry, it absolutely is.the longer this goes, the more blatantly sure it becomes that this is no longer the Prime/TOS timeline.
Heh ... the LINES are there in the 2260's, it's just that the colorblind producer didn't want to pay for the extra ink on the animation cells.Yes

What movie/show is that from?I wonder if the Surprise was a CGI model or a physical one...
In Season 3, when we reconnect with the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, still under the command of Captain Pike, they face the conclusion of season two’s harrowing encounter with the Gorn. But new life and civilizations await, including a villain that will test our characters’ grit and resolve.
An exciting twist on classic Star Trek, Season 3 takes characters both new and beloved to new heights, and dives into thrilling adventures of faith, duty, romance, comedy, and mystery, with varying genres never before seen on any other Star Trek — including a murder mystery, a rom-com, and a documentary-style episode.
After the entire timeline has been rewritten. Their second season already made this clear, but the further it goes, the more blatant it becomes.Sorry, it absolutely is.
