You do realize that nearly all the explanations in the franchise are almost entirely from Enterprise's fourth season, right?I've been spoiled by previous explanations
Of course it would be great.Wouldn't it be great if Star Trek gave us more than the absolute bare minimum though?
BORINGI'm not going to complain because they don't cater to my specific needs.
The good season everyone likes that finally redeemed the show? You do realize that nearly all the explanations in the franchise are almost entirely from Enterprise's fourth season, right?
Season 3?The good season everyone likes that finally redeemed the show?
It was classifed, no one wanted to admit Archer had his DNA walking around KronosIt then also retroactively makes Bashir look like an idiot, because as a Starfleet doctor, he should have known everything that Phlox knew.
No, it would not.Wouldn't it be great if Star Trek gave us more than the absolute bare minimum though?

Bashir would have access to every thing Phlox placed into the official record. That he actually sought that information out is a different matter.I know you're being facetious, but there would have been no reason to keep anything about that classified by the 24th century.
Tell that to Kronos, Klingons like rewriting their historyI know you're being facetious, but there would have been no reason to keep anything about that classified by the 24th century.

The Augment Virus? Seems more like something covered when a doctor chooses a specialty. And others would read up on if they run across something about DNA rewriting in the field.I would think that this would be pretty standard stuff taught in Starfleet Medical School.
Sure available, but the doctors in question actually have to seek it out. Becoming as expert on Klingon physiology and history might not be on everyone's to do list.I'm not quite sure I agree with that assessment. The Klingons were one of three major powers in the quadrant, and former enemies to boot. And the peace always seemed fragile over time. The Federation would have behooved itself to make information about them readily available to Federation doctors, especially after what happened to Gorkon, and McCoy's lack of knowledge about how to save him.
