Anyone else annoyed that there are no TOS Klingons in SNW yet?

I've been mad since Disco started. It would have made absolute sense to show all of the types, and it would have made narrative sense - REMAIN KLINGON! they are trying to make us human. they attacked us with this genetic weapon. they are encroaching on our space, our culture, even our biology. It would have ADDED to what they were doing, while remaining in step with previous series.

It then also retroactively makes Bashir look like an idiot, because as a Starfleet doctor, he should have known everything that Phlox knew.
It was classifed, no one wanted to admit Archer had his DNA walking around Kronos;)

I know you're being facetious, but there would have been no reason to keep anything about that classified by the 24th century.
Bashir would have access to every thing Phlox placed into the official record. That he actually sought that information out is a different matter.

I would think that this would be pretty standard stuff taught in Starfleet Medical School.

The Augment Virus? Seems more like something covered when a doctor chooses a specialty. And others would read up on if they run across something about DNA rewriting in the field.

I'm not quite sure I agree with that assessment. The Klingons were one of three major powers in the quadrant, and former enemies to boot. And the peace always seemed fragile over time. The Federation would have behooved itself to make information about them readily available to Federation doctors, especially after what happened to Gorkon, and McCoy's lack of knowledge about how to save him.

Sure available, but the doctors in question actually have to seek it out. Becoming as expert on Klingon physiology and history might not be on everyone's to do list.
