Shuttlepod Show on YouTube

What's goin' on with this show? They haven't posted a new episode on YouTube in over 2 weeks.
According to the Patreon, their David Livingston ep got copyright flagged for some reason. And they seem to imply that they're taking a little longer than usual to finish the Takei ep.

I love they got Joe Flanigan to come on. Connor and him probably haven’t see one another since the prodigal 14 years ago

I’m surprised and disappointed Dominic turns out to be problematic. ENT is among my all-time favorite shows. I found Lieutenant Reed (Captain Reed in the novels) stood out and was likeable despite being one of the Anglos in the crew.

Years ago my wife and I saw him at a convention.

His behavior was pretty boorish that day.

Takei seems like the type to not ignore Keating's comments and make a big stink, they're might be trying to edit around that.

Just wanted to let you know there are 2 new Shuttlepod shows posted in the last few days. The first show is an interview with the producer of Shuttlepod one and George Takei is live now on Youtube.

Dominic Keating has posted on his instagram that he is stepping away from the show and all 2024 events related to it that he was scheduled to appear in.

This comes as quite a surprise. Anyone know what happened?

And yes, he’ll often display some weird behavior towards the guests, to the point where it sometimes seems like he’s utterly disinterested in them or their background. So this tracks with what others seem to have noticed about him. Trinneer honestly often comes across similarly unprepared, but he’s more of a gentleman and displays more respect toward their guests.
I've always found the opposite. I always catch the guests giving Dom props for digging into their history, and him asking questions about the background, like the Okudas and they met, or asking Dan Curry questions about his time in the military and his time overseas.
I guess I like Dom because he reminds me of me. I call it "foot in mouth disease" or people say I have "word vomit" in that I don't know when to shut up. :D

I heard he's had health issues.
If it was health issues I'd expect him to not just cancel events related to the show and generally speaking a podcast is something more easily managable with health issues than other things. So I don't think it's that.
This feels more like he was kicked off the show and is allowed to announce it as his decision to safe face.

Trekmovie is doing an interview with Joh Billingsley talking about his telethon Trek Talks online in January to help the Hollywood Food Coalition. Their guests are going to be Gates Mcfadden, Terry Matalas , Michelle Hurd and special panels talking about Nichelle Nichols legacy.Robbie Mcneil will be shown on Trekmovie's Youtube channel.

I just heard about this today during the Connor Trinneer interview on Trek Talks 3.

I thought Keating made a number of derogatory comments to George Takei throughout his interview. It wouldn't surprise me if there was some clap back from fans.

Yes I saw Connor mention this on Trek talks 3 too. Pick a host that isn't so rude and crude. One that can be more polite and better manners to boot would be a good start.

I think it's a shame, I've never met Dom but quite liked him. Although some of his comments were cringe, for sure. It's a shame he didn't get a mention during his last episode. Normally if a host is leaving it's mentioned during the last show. Perhaps it was unexpected. I wish him well anyway and will continue to watch, it's an interesting and fun podcast

Trek geeks on Youtube interviewed Phillis Strong She wrote several season one Enterprise shows an season 3 shows like Dmage it was a really good interview I enjoyed listening to her stories of working on Voyager and Enterprise.
