That's too bad, I liked him on it. But Star Trek podcasts are a dime a dozen these days, we'll get interviews and behind the scenes stories elsewhere.

It's kind of a shame, for me. I like a lot of the episodes with the production people but not as interested in the interviews with actors so much. I wish they'd have gone more the rewatch podcast type thing. I dig that for Talkville and Supernatural Then and Now and The West Wing Weekly.
A bit weird, to say the least. It's a pity, I have a lot of time for Connor.
We're going to a convention next weekend where they are both appearing.
I'll report back if I learn anything.
Now this announcement by Trinneer is pretty confusing. I thought he and Keating were the podcast. So how can he be “leaving” it? Isn’t that just, you know, “ending” the podcast?

Well this is all rather odd and unhappy news to hear. Does sound like there has been some sort of disagreement or schism behind the scenes.
Egos and power plays just seem to dominate behind the camera a lot of the time. I wish this sort of thing could just be a bunch of mates doing a fun little podcast...Doing a podcast is apparently more serious a business than I thought.

Well, I can’t say I’m any less confused after having watched these. My first thought was: What the fuck is this?! And then: Is this real?
After now having looked it up this apparently is a real show with actual, legally binding court proceedings. I had no idea stuff like this existed, to be completely honest.
So if all of this is true about Mark Cartier (or Mark Joshua?), I wonder why Keating and Trinneer exited the podcast in this staggered manner instead of leaving at the same time. Well, whatever exactly happened, hopefully they weren’t cheated out of too much money.
Oh, wow. I intellectually know that Hollywood is a lot of smoke and mirrors but emotionally I still hold onto the fervent hope that people get along as well as they appear to, that everyone is friends. It upsets me every time it’s revealed that there are just some people that act in bad faith.
So they have a YouTube video set to go live fairly soon.

So I guess the current plan is to just keep right on going with three guys I've never heard of and the "checkered past" guy?
Edit: Based on a YouTube comment from The Shuttlepod Show, sounds like they are possibly absorbing a podcast called Unplanned Trek. (The aforementioned Izaak and Andrew.) Hosting and format will change, and they are launching a quiz show. "Mark Mark Mark Mark Mark Mark."

It looks like it I just got a notification about some Discovery show review .I didn't care for the new show it was boring . I Didn't care for the hosts either.
I only could stand to watch less than 5 minutes. Virtual trek con podcasts are doing great interviews they did with actors for their convention 5 2 weeks ago. I've been catching up watching them all .They interviewed John Billingsley. It was a great interview.

I'm not much of one for social media, but apparently Dominic also stopped following Mark and Erica (Mark's partner and co-host on the show) ...not proof of anything in and of itself, but it does add a little more weight to the idea that things went south due to specific people. Is it because Mark is a grifter? Who can say?
The whole point of the show was seeing Dominic and Connor together. Hence Shuttlepod One. No one is interested in randomers taking the show over. Fuck that noise.

They said they’re “discussing things this weekend”, which I took to mean they’re talking to the other guests about being on their new show.

As much as I’ve expressed distaste for Keating, this is good news.
First I thought Dominic might be sick (hence his earlier leaving) and despite not liking him, I wouldn’t wish more cancer on the guy.
Then when Connor went, I thought maybe they had a falling out… which would be a shame.
Good to hear they will regroup and return and hopefully the present iteration of Shuttlepod will sink without a trace.

So reading between the lines, it's some version of what we suspected. They likely are just not interested in being in business with Mark Cartier any more.
It'll be interesting to see what happens to the Shuttlepod Show's Patreon numbers in the coming weeks.
Edit: Apparently Mark claimed that Connor didn't even tell Mark in advance that he was leaving.
Dominic's partner apparently posted in response, "Can something be a “surprise”, “unexpected” and “devastating” if you were informed weeks in advance [Thinking Face Emoji] I really advise people to think critically here” and that Dom and Conn didn't "deserve what they were put through".
