I saw it on the news last week. I haven't thought about it. I might think about after seeing some information.
Seems though the NO vote might win which really is troubling and have we even grown as a nation?
I left home this morning at 6.30am to do 10,000 steps of walking before I reached the polling booth.
We normally vote at the Scout Hall and when I got there the fence was all covered with VOTE NO placards but the hall was locked up. I followed a herd of people walking towards the school. While walking towards to school hall there were many VOTE YES placards and also people wearing YES23 t-shirts. So all the NO placards were in the wrong place, and the YES in the right place.
I don’t think the YES vote will win
I have lost 11 kilos in weight since I started to walk 10,000 steps every day (along with dieting). I have now walked at least 10,000 steps a day for 81 days in a row.

I do not at all think the YES side of this sold their case at all very well, but as a nation that this small courtesy could cause so much distrust is saddening.

Depends on the cost. I would rather pay to see a new art exhibition than an old wreck I have seen a million photos of.
I'd go see chunks of the moon though . I'm a big museum junkie but the Titanic I feel I used up all interest in years ago.

I voted yes but I don't think they marketed this thing well or factored in how lazy and stubborn people can be. I've used the slogan "If it's not a hell yes, it's a no" for heaps of stuff so that's not surprising that got traction.
I voted earlier. But also walked over 3700 steps today, as I found my bike had a puncture - so I couldn't ride it. Felt a little sore in the knees - but happy that I did as I was thinking of getting a taxi home from the shopping centre to my house (basically 3 blocks). Now I wait for tomorrow and the trek convention.

The YES camp did not at all market their sides case well at all.
Having said that though the NO side well "if you don't know vote NO" is dumb on so many levels yet got traction, add to that the Murdoch media and misinformation and yay you won, and hope of nothing changes also wins.
I am very disappointed and embarrassed that so many Australians voted against this.
Shameful how this voting is going
I'm from the UK and really don't understand how it can have been voted No. I'm sure there are reasons but I just can't get my head around it. Although to be fair we had our own referendum not so long ago I still can't get my head around the outcome.

think my sisters would have voted yes and my mother no.
My nana had a very negative almost racist view of aboriginals and that lingers a bit.
with the way peter dutton was out there leading the liars, I have to wonder if he was a dirty cop during his police career.
