You can have one more season of your favorite Trek series, BUT...

What about....
- Liaisons
- Phantasms
- The Pegasus
- Lower Decks
- Emergence
Okay, "Lower Decks" was pretty good, even with its bummer ending. The only other one from your list that stands out to me is "The Pegasus," and that one just pissed me off. Imagine the Federation being dense enough to negotiate away that kind of strategic advantage! Also a notably sanctimonious outing for Picard.
If TNG had ended after season 6 there could be many, many questions, why oh why the series ended after only 6 seasons.
Then comes the discussion "what could have been in season 7".
However, we know because there is season 7, yaay.
We probably would have imagined something better. ;)

Maybe the Federation got something so valuable out of that deal it was worth it.
Also it seems like not everybody in the Federation abandoned the cloaking tech, who knows how deep that Pressman conspiracy went.

I don't know how Discovery is going to end, but trade any Pic season for another chance for Disco to get it right.
Yeah, I wish we'd have had a "true" final season where they knew it was going to be the last one before they wrote a single script and a single frame was shot. Season 5 definitely won't be that, even with quick fixes after the fact, because it originally wasn't meant to be.

Would've been nice if Netflix could've picked up Discovery like it's picked up Prodigy. They'd only need to make two seasons of DSC to get it up to seven. So, it wouldn't be a huge commitment. But I know won't happen, other than in a technically "never say never" sense. The second season of Prodigy being wrapped and almost done with post-production had to be a huge help in convincing Netflix to pick it up. It's already pretty much pre-made!

Picard season 2 for TOS season 4, not a groundbreaking answer, but TOS’ run has always felt a little clipped to me, and even if the fourth season would be more like S3 than the first two, I would prefer it to what I personally consider the worst season of Star Trek.
Can I trade Nemesis for another Kelvin Timeline movie?

I’d trade the totality of DSC, PIC, LDS, PRO and SNW for more Kelvin movies.

I just want more Kelvin movies dammit and blast.

This is going to be unpopular, but I think VOY could have wrapped in six seasons. To me, it was always the most scattered of the series' from Maquis inter-crew conflict, to Kazon, to Vidiian, to the Borg, to 8472, to time travellers, to...to...to... It was so all over the place, I think they could have tightened things up a bit to have all their main arcs done in six years.

So, I'd add ENT S5. They were really getting in the zone for S3, and particularly S4, until the car wreck finale. S5 would let the writers plant seeds for future story lines--Romulan war, anyone?--as well as wrap the characters up properly. (Hell, Mayweather and Sato might have gotten more than three lines per episode in a hypothetical S5, that would be groundbreaking! :guffaw:)

VOY -1
ENT +1

Was it really more scattered than TNG? I mean, their very premise (trying to travel home through huge stretches of space, with a continually changing 'landscape' of aliens) actually supported that. Though I agree the inter-crew conflict was dropped too quickly and the Kazon roaming territory seemed unreasonably large (after 3 years, they still hadn't left them behind?).

^Agree about the TNG and VOY could have wrapped at 6, not agree about DS9 going an 8th. I feel it was becoming less strong in its 7th season as well.
