Season 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1 of VOY didn't really rock my socks but oh well.

I'm not sure which Harry episode you mean, but the other two are actually from season 7, so I guess that's even more of an indictment of season 6!
I guess we'd really have to defer to the team at Temporal Investigations on this one, but I'd argue this could improve SNW. SNW's weakest patches have been trying to smooth over messy nonsense that Disco's setup saddled them with.
I think he was talking about "NIGHTINGALE", also in season 7. Based on the wording, I think he was saying season 7 was forgettable except for those examples.
Add in "SURVIVAL INSTINCT" and "TINKER TENOR DOCTOR SPY", and you have my exact list of favorites from that season.
Can I cut Season 1 from ENT? I think that was the most painful one. (if not then I cut season 2) I feel like cutting ENT is the easiest since we know there's no happy ending there.
Instead I'll have a Seaosn 8 of DS9 with Kira running the station. For this is it permissible to change part of the finale so that O'Brien stays on the station? I'm alright with Odo leaving since it finishes his character arc, but I feel losing Miles might damage the show too much. To make up for the departures I'd promote Kasidy Yates to the rank of main character, and I'd introduce a Cardassian scientist who joins the station/main characters (and possibly becomes Kira's new love interest. but I'm not sure about that)
It would give us another season of Ezri (who was too good of a character to just have in one measly season!), the show could explore the post-Dominion War Federation, could finish off with Bajor finally joining the Federation and it could have Sisko returning in the second half to help with some crisis and then he retires to Bajor with Kasidy and their newborn child.

Cut - Discovery S1. It is imo…the worst season of Star Trek…period.

For me it comes down to that or TOS S4. Both series felt unfinished but the TOS crew got TAS and the movies to keep telling their story. Enterprise wins because it was unceremoniously canceled after two fantastic seasons and given the worst series finale.
TNG and Voyager had clearly run their course and were running on fumes in their final seasons. Especially TNG as they were very clearly ready to jump to the silver screen.
DS9 S8 might be a good one but so much hinges on Avery Brooks coming back and the fact you wouldn’t have O’Brien, Odo, Garak and Worf. And if you just say “add new characters” as we saw with Ezri…adding a new character for a shows final season isn’t the best idea.

Get rid of TNG S1 in exchange for TOS S4. While some consider TAS the 4th and 5th TOS seasons, S3's character and world-building continued to flourish in interesting ways, even when framed by a poor script. That's enough to warrant a 4th season, and in eliminating TNG S1, a bad direction for the franchise might have been averted, sparing viewers from the New Age-y, pompous, finger-wagging, heartless kind of "creativity" which would stain ST for nearly 20 years.
I don't think I'd call it my "favourite" show, but I really want that 5th season of ENT to see where they went after season 4. I'd sacrifice TNG season 1.
To clarify, I meant an extra season tacked on at the end, not picking up the show with the actors as they are today. So Rene Auberjonois would still be available to play Odo.
I say no, because according to the rules I laid out, the remaining seasons stay as is. Otherwise, we're just creating our own alternate histories of the franchise.
Wow! Eliminating "Yesterday's Enterprise," "Sarek," and "The Best of Both Worlds" for more TAS? Now, THAT'S a radical answer!

Oops. Guess I didn't read that carefully enough. OK, I'll trade any season of Disco for another season of TOS. If Disco isn't considered 'finished' and doesn't count, we'll make it Picard S2.
