Spoilers The Strange New Worlds Starship Thread™

do like me some atypical starfleet ships, though this one is a touch "made in modelling software" for me. you can feel the subdivision/smoothing modifier on the hull down by the deflector dish (or maybe i've just been using Blender too much lately)

Kelcie Mae reminds me of the 2001 spaceplane :D

No saucer on the Kelce Mae, but some design cues in common with the Intrepid from PIC S3 (the bolt-on deflector dish )

The Kelcie Mae looks like a pre-evolution of the deep space science vessels from Star Trek Online - Trident class, Oracle class, and Destiny class - ones which I am guessing came from the guy who later went into Star Wars, given their design language resemblance to the MC75 from Rogue One.

I really like the Kelcie Mae. But it's pointyness would suit the late 24th / early 25th century much more.
It seems to be a better fit for a civilian StarLiner design that was modified for StarFleet use.

Similar to how the USAF has several modified Boeing AirLine Aircraft in their inventories for transport of personnel or diginitaries.

Speaking of the new shuttle design, I am reminded of one of the shuttles seen in the TAS episode "Mudd's Passion". I think it is more like a runabout than a normal shuttle, as it has a NCC number (NCC-7901).,
100% its a TOS era runabout.

Also I agree with some that the Kelsie Mae is supposed to be reminiscent of a cruiseliner.

I think FASA had a freighter with something like that design. A long hull and a single upper nacelles.

Architect reviews the interior design of the Enterprise. He talks a bit about the inspirations (e.g. mid-century modern) and created some really nice architectural renderings and walkthroughs of the corridors, Pike’s cabin and the lounge. He also attempts match the interiors to the exterior of the saucer section and you can imagine how that goes. :D

Do wish the VFX person would do like Doug and Dave and release concept art, orthos, etc of ships from SNW.. Those are so much appreciated.

Yeah, I’ve been starting to wonder if there are enough windows on the upper rim of the saucer to justify how many rooms they use those walls for.

Sweet! Thanks!
Only thing I don't like is the "Bolted On" Nacelle.. just looks like it was added as an afterthought.. owell

Oh.. He also did the Not Crossfield if it hasn't already been posted

Huh, just a thought, if this was a "franken" ship, then the tail end we saw in the starbase may have been the "Doner" ship for the back end? And it has a different front which we didn't see.
Also seems the "Cut out" in the saucer is filled in.. maybe the changes for Disco was for the spinny saucer?

EDIT: Sorry if this has been posted before, just going down his twitter :)

the turn around on the Kelcie Mae is an incomplete version, there are some things missing/different from what we saw in the episode.
