Wil Wheaton watches the episodes before doing The Ready Room. The VFX is WIP, but it should be the final cut when it comes to pacing.(And if you're wondering why the 'Ready Room' segments and episodes keep dropping and seem unaffected - realize they were filmed possibly up to a year ago while SNW S2 was in production. Yes, they want you to think they're 'current'; but I'm sure they wanted to do the interviews while they had the crew there to film, and to get the cast reaction soon after they'd finished the work on the episode that's the focus of a given segment.)
Good ones, anyway. God, I miss John M. Ford.In the old days he would have gotten a novel. Only reason he won't these days is because new Trek novels have become rarer than a land-walking fish.

So I don't think it's that close to filming.
If I remember correctly there are 5 season two SNW episodes left and we haven't seen these scenes from trailers yet:
Am I missing something?
- Uhura & a shuttle crash - possibly the same as Uhura's "I have a theory" and Uhura and Kirk having a drink
- Ortega's Shuttle dive with Pike and Co (Don't worry I did it a 100 times during the war, it's like riding a bike)
- the Gorn one (Spock & Chapel in Space and on Hull, Pike's GF on planet when ship shows up, the destruction of the Enterprise?)
- the LowerDecks crossover
- Pike, Una, Spock, Laan = on a sand planet with a Stargate/Portal of sorts?
- Laan meets Kirk, Uhura notes "you have an engery"
- multiple Klingon ships vs Enterprise
That's probably Captain Batel's ship.the destruction of the Enterprise
Rewatching this scene, there seems to be rando scraps of metal strapped to the hull. I think they're pretending to be space debris, and Ortegas has to start the engines late so whatever space sensors don't pick them up.Ortega's Shuttle dive with Pike and Co (Don't worry I did it a 100 times during the war, it's like riding a bike)
Trekmovie's a great site. Anthony has done a marvelous job building it over the last, what, fifteen or sixteen years? Good content, good sources.
That being said, if you want to watch a bunch of pretty dim people take themselves and Star Trek as seriously as religion, read the article talkbacks. There are some okay folks, but a preponderance of utter bores.
There's also Fleet Captain Pike. But I have a hard time finding an upload of that trailer again.
Yeah, I remember that. We talked a couple of times when he asked me to write reviews of TOS Remastered episodes. That was fun - I remember my synopses were snarky enough to piss off a lot of the Talkbackers, but Anthony liked them well enough.Anthony used to post here under the "PowderedToastMan" handle. I think he initially started covering the TrekUnited campaign to save ENT and his site took off when JJ movie went into production. I always check the site for the latest news, but don't read any comments.

I think we will eventually. They probably haven't decided on who will play her yet.So, quick question, not really worth a thread, but in TAS, Admiral April had a doctor wife, Sarah, will we get to see her in any episode??
Pike talking to April about Captain Batel, and how to make things work, using his example of having a wife onboard.
Natascha McElhone from Paramount's other sci-fi show Halo is a good choice to play SarahI think we will eventually. They probably haven't decided on who will play her yet.
that could work. I can see that.Natascha McElhone from Paramount's other sci-fi show Halo is a good choice to play Sarah
