Spoilers Una's fate after Season 1

Has there been any word from official sources on whether the Illyrians of SNW are supposed to be the same species as the ones from ENT? Or maybe just an unrelated people that happens to have the same name? Considering that they regularly use genetic engineering to adapt to whatever environment they settle in, maybe it's commonplace for different groups of Illyrians to look completely different.

Ooh I don't remember them in Enterprise.

One of the images Una looks up has ridges similar to the ENT illyrians, one of the artists said it was intentional.

The recent comic set between Seasons 1 and 2 has them as the same Species.

You mean like dying as a direct result of their trying to fit into the Federation's extremely narrow-minded and intolerant dogma? That kind of karmic price? And who, exactly, deserves to pay a karmic price: the people who prefer to change themselves in order to live in harmony with their environments, or the people who put you in jail because you have Evil Genetics?
Well, that's not drama is it? That was my point. Man!

And what happened to Phil Boyce anyway?
Una: Who? Who turned me in?

Boyce: And I thought your intelligence was supposed to be augmented.

Una: Phil??

Boyce: I get the same two kinds of customers. The living and the dying. And you are now among the latter, you ****ing Augment.

I hope we get an explanation of the hyphenated human surname Chin-Riley.

Did she steal someone's identity?

She must have falsified birth records and whatnot.

This Trans-Species plot is actually interesting if they explore it in depth.
