I really don't think the merits and detractions of the american healthcare system is relevant for Borg related events in 2401.
The Borg Queen was clearly in need of a doctor. ;-)

Remember that this episode was filmed over a year ago; and giving everything else they had more than enough time to ramp up a Legacy series if they wanted to; but the series they announced was Starfleet Academy in the 32nd century, and a Section 31 streaming feature film.Wow, I think I exploded watching that.
Q is continuing the trial on humanity with Jack!
Seven is in command of the Enterprise-G!
The Walter Keonig voice cameo had me grinning from ear to ear. As did the real Tuvok coming and giving Seven the captaincy.
I wonder if Kurtxman is planning to go ahead with the Legacy series with Seven, Raffi, Jack, and Sidney LaForge? It was nicely set up here, though would Q even be a part of it? Oh hell, I'd watch either way.
The final scene of the TNG crew playing poker was a perfect note to go out on, nicely echoing All Good Things...
I'm glad it saved your family members, but that doesn't make it okay when it kills thousands upon thousands of people through neglect. "It saved people I love so it must not have serious deficiencies" is not sound logic, and it is not respectful to the people whom the system kills. You don't know what you're talking about.
I wish they'd gotten more than just Alice Krige's voice. The Borg Queen was clearly in need of a doctor. ;-)
Maybe they all do to prevent a Neelix type situation. Or maybe Seven suggested it to prevent a Neelix type situation. It felt a bit rushed in places but hearing the computer voice gave me goosebumps.
Just think the fleet as removed from the emotional trauma a bit fast oh and why did the Titian have a cook?
I don't know if she'd want to do that makeupI wish they'd gotten more than just Alice Krige's voice.

You do when you claim to be able to have written the show better. It doesn't matter. You don't have to be able to "do better" just to critique a TV show. Funny how no one ever asks to see someone's credentials when they praise a show.![]()
They didn't know Shaw and his crew would be something the viewers would want to become a series, the same as when Pike and his Enterprise crew appeared on Discovery. Fan reaction caused Strange New Worlds, like fan reaction may cause Legacy.Remember that this episode was filmed over a year ago; and giving everything else they had more than enough time to ramp up a Legacy series if they wanted to; but the series they announced was Starfleet Academy in the 32nd century, and a Section 31 streaming feature film.
I suppose it's possible that they could try a Legacy streaming feature film, or miniseries; but I have a feeling that's not in the cards right now.
I thought she'd say, "Do it" like Janeway.Seven's next line must clearly be "fun will now commence."
I wish they'd gotten more than just Alice Krige's voice.
I doubt Krige was willing to endure that level of makeup again. She's 68 years old now, and you'll notice that the only legacy actor they really made endure a lot of makeup again this season was Worf, because you just can't do Worf without that makeup. Even Spiner basically got to just be himself with contacts.
I can understand why she wasn't thrilled about it...that was an *extreme* amount of makeup
