With that last episode, I can hear the deus ex machina popping out of the sky....like a borg cube. I love the nostalgia of this series but with one episode left and only two really well-written episodes, I am going to go ahead and say I have lost any hope of liking this plot. I remember getting a lot of joy out of borg queen agnes at the very least. Jack's powers have been a disappointment, I feel like they're going to try and have jack attempt to sacrifice himself and then real-body-picard will save him and they'll all be happily ever after or something nauseating. (Why did they cut to Jack two times the entire last 40 minutes of the episode? - it's like whomever wrote it forgot how to do a standard suspense drama A and B plot).
I enjoyed it, but felt it was way too rushed. They really could’ve benefited from a slightly longer season. Even 2 more episodes would’ve allowed this to flow more organically (pun intended).
The plot is a little over the top, but I’ll take it considering what we’ve gotten this season. It’s basically a fan production plot with OG main characters, better acting, and a much higher budget. The character interactions have been great and the drama has been good.

Finally got to the end of this thread. It's taken ages. 
This season hasn't been perfect or flawless or anything else along those lines but as a celebration of the TNG characters and cast it's been great.
By the time I left for work I'd reached page 50 but the thread was at page 67. I've not long reached the end and it's at page 78. Really glad I don't mod this forum. 
I'd really like to believe this is the last we'll see of them (please!), but I reckon it's more likely they'll be around forever, like the damned Daleks. I'd be okay with both of them going away forever. One can but hope.
This is a good theory. I like it. I like it a lot better than the clear idiocy of networking the entire fleet - although one would really hope that the entire fleet isn't stuffing about at Earth. Surely there are better things for all those ships to be doing.
This sums up my reaction thus far as well.

From some of the design elements, I would not be surprised if that name is not the only thing similar to that book by the end.

OH how I would've loved to have seen the modified Galaxy-class ships from the future part of "All Good Things...." amongst the fleet of Starfleet ships gathered near earth in this episode. Hey, just because we saw it in a future that never came to be doesn't mean that Starfleet wasn't going to make them anyway in the Prime timeline! In my own head canon any Galaxy-class ships still in service during this era (minus the Enterprise-D we saw at the end of the episode) would've been refitted to the "All Good Things...." version. I know a lot of Trekkies hated this design because it looked like a kitbash but I'm ngl, it has grown on me!

I agree.
I think the season would have benefitted from having the Borg on more than just 2 episodes.
As it is, we had the Changelings for what... 8 episodes and then suddenly the 'main' Borg in the last two... which seemed a bit... strange and tacked on.
If this was their season long arc all along, it makes sense from Jack Crusher's perspective, but we had no proper exposition of the 'main' Borg this season beyond Shaw initially mentioning to Crusher to forget what happened on the Stargazer last year (Jurati Borg).

Honestly, I didn't overtly like all the added bits to the Galaxy class in that version.
I had no problems with SF adding 2 more phaser strips on top of the original nacelles because it increased the coverage, but otherwise, adding a third nacelle and those extra canon bits on the bridge module (and a massive phaser canon on the bottom of the saucer) which disrupted the flow of the ship seemed 'tacked on' and unnecessary.
Technical efficiency generally allows you to do more with less.. the Galaxy class from that future which never came to be could have just been said that it was upgraded extensively and remains one of the most powerful ships in the fleet.
The third nacelle might aid in overal Warp field stability, but generally wouldn't necessarily allow for the ship to travel at faster Warp speeds (that usually comes from a more powerful/efficienct main power core, SIF enhancements, hull plating material improvements, and general upgrades in general which better control the Warp field).
The Queen's Borg cube seemed different to the "Artifact" cube, still in ruins and understaffed - I have a feeling there's no real Collective anymore and the Borg has split up into different "Collectives" (likely helped along by the other Queen from S2). Makes the S3 Queen seem more of a petty, bitter loner that wants to tear down the Federation.
I hate to be like, an epistemological stick in the mud but, does anyone else think the changelings' changeability as a suspect construction suggests that static person-hood is the only acceptable state of existence?
Please feel free to tell me I am a complete overthinker. I am just comparing to the fact that on DS9 we had Odo to show us that changeability isn't bad, even though it did seem like he felt the need to assimilate in order to be accepted. Whereas in this series, their changeability seems like it was just utilized to create fear and mask a more obvious threat without making very much commentary on anything.
