The Ep9 teaser preview shows Troi open the door and storm out of the room in fear. So basically they teased a reveal and still don't give it right away which is starting to get funny. They did say that the red tendrils represent connections.
So is Troi planning to go tell Picard & co. what she saw? Will they have her go through a door in the ship and then cut to something else to stall that reveal? What else can they do to push this to the end of the ep and all the way to ep10? Red alert, the ship is hit, Troi is knocked unconscious...
What would make Troi frightened? Borg is obviously a possibility, but is there anything else?
or seven powers up Voyager for its transphasic torps... just in case jack is a psedoborg
No, it's not unreasonable, and your post as a whole is a much more reasoned argument than most I've seen attempting to justify Shaw's insistence on using a name Seven doesn't want used. For me it comes back to respect and basic courtesy. She's Titan's first officer (and it's been suggested Shaw requested her). Surely he should show his XO the courtesy of calling her by her name. It’s not an unreasonable reaction even if it is offensive to Seven and us as viewers who know Seven.
A bit. I like the D a lot more than the E, but it's not something I'd be overly concerned about.Would anyone be disappointed if the Enterprise-E was to turn up rather than the D in the next couple of episodes?
One could assume that a photon torpedo going off and destroying a starship right next to Vadic's pieces, probably boiled off the liquid rather quickly and finished her off.Well, it's possible she isn't actually dead, but she probably would need help to.warm up and re-form.
Still going with Luxwana.
Isn't she dead?
Still going with Luxwana.
Actress is yes, sadly, Majel died in 2010 I think
In universe it's not clear if she has passed.

I'm not saying Shaw should just get over it; life's never that simple. But given Seven was assimilated when she was six years old it's not unreasonable that she doesn't identify with her birth name. (And as someone whose perfectly straightforward name is almost always mispronounced, I have a pretty good sense of how utterly frustrated Seven would feel about being called by a name she doesn't identify with.)
Anyway. I've said enough about the subject so I'll shut up now.

I don’t have a problem with Shaw calling her Commander Hansen. Presumably her legal name is still Annika Hansen. Her ex lover Bjayzul called her Annika. She could always go through a legal change of name if she chooses. Shaw clearly and understandably has a visceral hatred of the Borg and all associations with them. He was open minded enough to pick Seven as his first officer or at least not to pitch a fit when she was assigned to him and he didn’t really seem to mean it when he relieved her from duty the first time since he didn’t have her escorted off the bridge right away by security. That only came about later. But calling her by a Borg name clearly goes a step too far.
How do you unexplode the main hull and get the now 30+ year old wrecked Saucer section off Veridian III?![]()
I don't know what "pew, pew" is supposed to mean. All the phasers fire, they are all capable of different settings, and they all have the same effects. The writers choose whatever works for the plot. A TNG phaser will kill just as easily, this is a difference that makes no difference.
Isn't she dead?
Majel Barrett is, sadly.
Not sure about Lwaxana Troi, the fictional character. I don't recall it ever being established that she's died.
The door leads to the Hell dimension from Event Horizon.
You’ve told me that before. You forgot Jason Issacs was in it.Showing off: I edited the novelization of that movie, back in the day. As I recall, it sold pretty well.
