Worf was never promoted to full Commander. And, in fact, was still a Lieutenant Commander in Nemesis, so it fits.Maybe we'll see it in Prodigy
Wasn't Worf promoted to commander in DS9? It happened while he still was a Lt Cdr...

And so is ShawSaite was off her rocker (to put it kindly). Great episode, though.
I’m 99% sure they just redesigned the FX.I am really wondering about the sickly-looking changelings
Maybe it was a "Teenage" changeling, one who was rebellious and couldn't accept defeat. The changeling imitating LaForge was too obvious. I'm used to changelings being smarter. Other than that, episode was great.
I think that's Jonathon Frakes being modest about his acting abilities.Riker's apology to Picard. I read somewhere that Frakes reckons he isn't much of an actor (or words to that effect), but he nailed that scene (and as usual he nailed the direction of the ep).
I thought Sisko was far too quick to get over it. Though because we don't see him interact with Picard outside of the first and 2nd scene we can't state with certainty that he had fully done so.No, I wasn't. But he came to grips with it (by the end of the episode, no less). One hopes Shaw will, too.
People will be people. It would be unrealistic for it not to happen.Unfortunately, hate towards Jean-Luc for Wolf 359 (which he was of course not responsible for, he is a victim himself) is a thing on Trek, and I can believe that it still happens. Despite 24th/25th century, enlightened people, blah blah blah. The irresistible human urge to look for someone to blame, etc.
A changeling. What the hell was that thing about Vadic’s hand? What was that thing she was talking to?
Negatives - Picard was not personally responsible for what happened at Wolf 359. Okay, Shaw was there and what happened was obviously ghastly, but it wasn't Picard's fault. (It wasn't Seven's, either.) Shaw is in dire need of counselling and how the hell he attained a captaincy is beyond me.

The previous one was brownish, root beer sewage. This one and the hand-ling are bloody red cherry with vanilla sauce. Perhaps they are different changeling subtypes - golden ember honey beings, living diarrhea, and The Thing. Ember honey was so much nicer than The Thing though.I’m 99% sure they just redesigned the FX.
Ok, so it would fit with where Prodigy is gonna go in S2-X I guess...?Worf was a Lieutenant Commander in Nemesis. It actually fits.
Worf was never promoted to full Commander.
Is the Thing Face literally Vadic's handler then? It's a interesting place to hide for a Changeling.
Wrap yourself around her hand, then when she needs you, slice off the changeling to talk to it.
There even was someone here who insisted he's a mass murderer because of 359. Tried to reason with them. It was before I realized not everyone here can be reasoned withUnfortunately, hate towards Jean-Luc for Wolf 359 (which he was of course not responsible for, he is a victim himself) is a thing on Trek, and I can believe that it still happens. Yeah, if he never encountered Borg ever again you’d probably never know. Some people hide PTSD really well. And some can't get over the fact that JLP was turned into Locutus.
Despite the fact that both JLP & Seven are "Victims" of the Borg as well.
You're probably right, but it just looks so much grosser. Imagine Odo entering the Great Link and it being a giant pool of chunky diarrhea like that...I’m 99% sure they just redesigned the FX.
Looked the same to me.The previous one was brownish, root beer sewage. This one and the hand-ling are bloody red cherry with vanilla sauce. Perhaps they are different changeling subtypes - golden ember honey beings, living diarrhea, and The Thing. Ember honey was so much nicer than The Thing though.
Yeah I’m guessing. Would explain why changelings are taking orders from a solid. Is the Thing Face literally Vadic's handler then?

Humans aren't really as enlightened as you might think they are.Unfortunately, hate towards Jean-Luc for Wolf 359 (which he was of course not responsible for, he is a victim himself) is a thing on Trek, and I can believe that it still happens. I loved the fact that we finally see somebody throw a Asteroid at Vadic.Okay, totally a stupid thing to get excited about, but did anyone else love that we got a real tractor beam with the right sound effect at the end? I've always thought they look and sound so cool. And I also loved the Wrath of Khan theme kicking in right after T'Veen says the nebula is changing.
The Changling is definitely the one hand-ling Captain Vadic.Yeah I’m guessing. Would explain why changelings are taking orders from a solid.
