It's from a 'possible future', so it could still exist. The J was from an alternate universe. So it doesn't count.

The D was 2363 to 2371, right number of years though.D lasted 8 years 2365-2373
Yes, but this was an Enterprise, they always seem to get into tougher scrapes than any other ship (outside of war).AND .. Sovereigns were in there fleet in S2..
I was really hoping that the Odyssey class F would never count too but here we are
It's from a 'possible future', so it could still exist.
So
1701 lasted 40 years 2245-2285
A lasted 8 years, 2285 to 2293, Caveat of it probably wasn't a new ship to begin with, just a re christening.
B lasted unknown 2293- ????
C lasted unknown ????-2345
D lasted 8 years 2365-2373
E lasted 12 years 2373 - 2286??
F lasted 19 years 2286 - 2405?
Yet Excelsiors, Mirandas, Constellations last for nearly 100 years.
AND .. Sovereigns were in there fleet in S2..
Or Doug Drexler.it will probably be designed by John Eaves.
Or Doug Drexler.
Or both of them, like with the Stargazer.
We do know that the C would have lasted at least until the 2360's when it would have been decommissioned to make way for the D.
Erm, no? If the E-C had been in good shape, the Galaxy class probably would've gotten a different name.
Well, it seems highly wastefull to decommission a perfectly fine ship just to free up the name.
Hope they do like they did between the C and D after the F, just let the name rest.
I bet 400 quatloos that they won't. We'll probably see the G at the end of the show with Seven as its captain.
At this rate, I feel like that a hypothetical G would be designed by Bill Krause.Or Doug Drexler.

I'd be ok with that. I'd also be ok with someone else who hasn't designed a ship before to make something truly original. (That was not a cut on Bill, who I think makes fabulous designs for the TOS and TMP era.)
Well that one ship we saw in the newest trailer was designed by him (other than the nacelles and bridge module)

It's from a 'possible future', so it could still exist.
The J was from the actual future not an alternate universe or “possible” future.
