The texture is made of tiny deltas. This isn't a joke. And Mica Burton as Alandra. Also, LeVar isn't wearing any contacts, so I guess his implants are done in post-production now, like the Queen's eyes in Season 2.
It's strange to me as it looks a bit like a mash up of the Kelvin Bridge, and a photoshoped business suit jacket on to Burton. Its a great look but the picture feels quite strange.
I was going to say it looks like he's wearing overalls/suspenders, but yes, a chef's apron is more spot on.
I like the color palette and the DS9/Voyager-style shoulder/torso separation. But there’s too many layers and the jacket really looks apronish.

I don’t get Kelvin Trek and nu-Trek having to insert the delta logo into every uniform somewhere. just seems like an odd choice.
