Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

But it's Burger King. Isn't their whole thing about doing it "your way"? Can't you just ask to hold the cheese and mayo?
Ninj'd!

Yeah, but I don't like them without cheese and mayo.

I almost always get my drive-thru without whatever corporate sauces they are slinging, add my own packets I brought with, or take it home to my own favorites.

I see vegan mayo and cheese is available now.

It nice to so many places are adding vegan options to their menus, the one that really shocked me was Medieval Times. I haven't gone to the one out here, so I don't know what exactly you get, but they actually have both vegetarian and vegan meal options.
The veggie main course option is an incredibly filling and tasty bean, rice, potato and veggies stew. The vegan appetizer is hummus with carrots and celery.

Yeah, I've been doing Tofurkey sandwiches with veganaise and non-dairy cheese since I gave up the Impossible Whoppers.

I was once tempted by a B1G1F deal on veggie burgers and, snap my suspenders, they were the best tasting burgers I ever ate. Too bad it is still too expensive to have all the time, I would.

Yes! Hubby and I went once on our own and then took my parents for their birthdays. It's expensive, but hella fun!
I thought about trying to see if I could convince my mom to go for my birthday last month, but the day snuck up on me before I got a chance to ask her about it.

Does anybody know where the best place to find out things like kind of animals you can or can't have in a specific neighborhood? My mom and I have joked about how we'd love to adopt a pig from one of the animal sanctuaries we follow, and I was just curious to see if we could have one in our neighborhood. I tried looking around on the city's website a while back, but I couldn't find anything on there.

Have you checked with your city or county department of animal regulation? I don't know where you live, but Los Angeles County, with its 88 cities, has a patchwork of laws regarding the keeping of animals.

*Pitch for a live-action Trek sitcom I have in my head*
I could picture a show like Frasier with the EMH
Dude, the only pitch for a Trek sitcom I will ever entertain is Scotty hosting a "Tool Time" type parody of "This Old House" called "This Old Ship" where he talks while his redshirts get injured doing the work, & his catchphrase at the end, when he signs off, would be "And rrrrrememberrrr lads & lassies. You'rrrre not a rrrrreal engineer unless therrrre's an engine nearrrrr!"

It has potential, but consider the following...
SETTING: Some minor station that's the 24th century equivalent of K-7
CHARACTERS: A scheming Ferengi who causes most of the trouble in search of profit, a bumbling Pakled who mostly serves as a sidekick to the former, a temperamental Klingon who's one bad day away from killing them both, and a Vulcan to play the "straight man" (doesn't have to be a man) and keep them all in line.

This sounds pretty awesome.

No, it's just a bit curiosity, so I don't feel like taking it that far unless we're actually seriously looking into get a pig or some other animal with more strict rules about where you can and can't have them. I just thought maybe there was just somewhere I could just look things like that up real quick.

I would watch that.
I've always kind of gotten a kick out of Johnathan Frakes' joke about a Riker family sitcom.

He's no Trekyards presenter. At least they always have images of the subject matter on screen to look at. I wanted to be looking at all the things he was describing about the ships, not his mug.

And the original Enterprise only rates a second place? :angryrazz:
