Something I've seen others note is that Jen doesn't seem to be quite as quick on the uptake when she's Shulkie. Problem is, she's also drunk half the time when she's 'Just Jen,' which isn't helping as far as picking up clues.

I can see Jen slow to be suspicious of the Wrecking Crew guy because she is reluctant to be part of the superhero life that thinks in terms of supervillains and plots, however she is supposed to be a trial lawyer. Examining and questioning testimony in depth is a process she should be acquainted with and comfortable using. There are possibilities why she doesn't to infer from the show but outside the show the writers have admitted they aren't experts at writing stories with a legal angle so that could extend to how a lawyer ought to think.

    So,
Jen's not as good a lawyer as she thinks she is? Mallory might be of this opinion after the Titania trial.

She-Hulk isn't as quick a thinker as Jen? The lawyer sees through stuff happens more when she's Jen, seemingly.

Jen/She-Hulk just thought of the attack as guys molesting a woman, even a big green hulk woman? Maybe, Jen's not only new to superhero life, she doesn't want to be a part of it.

The writers are more focused on the Jen/She-Hulk divide as a comedy device than developing an oncoming threat to the lead of the show? I lean to this, the bad guy is secondary to the writers. They are focused on Jen's coming to terms with being a hulk like Bruce said she would have to. That process is there through each episode but Jen is written so reluctant to take any such step that they seem invisible.

The show is busier being funny than to focus on Jen's coming to terms with being She-Hulk. That being so because the show has taken that end as a given from the outset. I find it leaves Jen's journey to that end anticlimactic. The emotions in the group session Jen expressed were well acted by Tatiana but we've been so disconnected from Jen's feelings about She-Hulk that it didn't feel as cathartic as it might have if we'd felt Jen's struggles more explicitly.

Wonder if he drugged her somehow. Sort of makes me think Better Call Saul scenes with Gene in the last few episodes.

In one of the shots of Jen trying to find a cell signal, it holds on her phone screen for a moment. She has all her wireless services disabled lol. No wonder she couldn’t find anything!

edit: Ok only cell data was turned off

The latest episode was great with the support group folks. Once gain proving though the show is at it's best when you focus on guest characters as opposed the series regulars not named Jen. Why can't her boss and lawyer buddies be as interesting as the support group folks?

I did keep waiting for one(or all) of Blonsky's group to turn out to be a wrong un but it appears they're all on the level.

With 2(I think) episodes to go I'm still waiting for this to kick into gear, but it's always enjoyable.

I think the show is going to end with her loosing her cool as She-Hulk and hurting someone and being placed on trial. Murdock/Daredevil comes in as her lawyer. The real villain will be the Jon Bass character as a super villain incel who is angry she rejected him while looking for dates and romance. They set up the character so you need payoff on him.

2 left so i guess they will reveal a hulk monster created with Jen's blood forcing Jen to confront the realities Bruce warned her of about creating more hulks followed by a final confrontation in 9 where the baddie is beaten. Jen will finally embrace being a superhero.

There is still one more brief scene from the trailers of Blonsky as the Abomination, so I wonder if he will help Jen in the final fight and be in violation of his parole as a result?

But I don't think they want her to be a superhero. I think they want her to stand out from most characters in the MCU in that her arc is to be more mundane and that is to be happy and a lawyer and all of that.

I think that's pretty much guaranteed but also he'll be let go due to the emergency of the situation ( and he has a lawyer directly involved as a witness).

To be fair i feel this is a mediocre show - if it weren't for the charm of Maslany i might even rank this as below average. I have laughed more and better in shows that are supposedly more serious and there are shows that are much more comedic without trying too much ( Hawkeye for example) than this one.

There's still a lot of balls in the air for the two final episodes:
    • The Daredevil cameo (which probably comes last week
    • Blonsky's return as Abomination
    • Burying the hatchet with Titania (she's clearly not the real big bad of the season)
    • Unveiling who the "big bad" actually is.

The last episode was great, the stuff at Blonsky's retreat was a lot of fun. I hope we see the other support group members, they were hilarious.
I'm really disappointed Josh is a bad guy, I liked they actually let Jen find a decent normal guy. But I guess in a show like this, that's just too good to be true.

In the lap of squalor I assure you.
If that was the case, then no one had to seduce Jen.

You just needed a dirty little pervert to go through her garbage and pilfer She-Hulks sanitary pads.

Ah, but it didn't occur to anyone to do it this way. And our guy here has the idea first and thought to do it in a way that also got him sex.

You can dab some numbing medication on the site of the blood draw and she would barely feel it. In a deep sleep she would likely not respond at all.
