i loved them. I was surprised to see them doing new uniforms for what may well be the final episode of the series.People, what do you think of the dress uniforms?![]()

Agreed with @Romulan_spy about getting a What You Leave Behind vibe, but I was also reminded a little of Data's Day (or any other "day in the life" style episode).
Grimes is in the Ted prequel with MacFarlane at least.- there's rumors that Scott Grimes has filmed a pilot for another series and may leave Orville produces a kind of mixed reaction from me. To be honest i don't consider him a good actor but his character has some charming element, especially when he sings like he did at the wedding. To be further honest i think Orville could do without him if there is a season 4.
Reminds me more of the TNG movie dress uniform but maybe that's just the colour.A hard hommage for what i consider the best Trek uniforms - Kirk era red uniforms ( just in white). They looked fantastic.
Should have ditched the sideburns and gone with mid 1950's Elvis, instead of 1970's Elvis look.
Palecki's line delivery was utterly spot on in this episode! This line reminded me of something a friend of mine might say to her husband if he popped into a girls' night."You have been useful sober man, go away now."
RIGHT? Seth wrote this episode and I could tell he's thought long and hard about these issues.I really liked the discussions about how things work in the Union from not having money, to what motivates people to work, what people do for entertainment and the importance of the prime directive. It was nice to have a character that could ask the questions that the audience might ask like "why do you work if you don't get paid?".
Yes! And the Kaylon stripper - and Claire dancing with him!Isaac wearing *just* a neck tie was *chef's kiss*
I liked them muchly.People, what do you think of the dress uniforms?![]()
I think that's on purpose given the Moclans have been shown to have less-than-progressive ideals as a culture.- i'm not sure if it's just Bortas/Klyden or all Moclans but Bortas seems to be really dominating Klyden. To me it looks like old style ( pre-1900s) earth male/female relationships where the man is in total control and the woman is completely subservient. Just seems a bit strange to to write them like that in Orville, which aims to be progressive
