Spoilers The Strange New Worlds Starship Thread™

Maybe it's the angle, maybe it's an illusion. But the angle of the pylons on the Miranda-esque ship in the Ep 10 trailer seems to change between these two shots

Perhaps the lens flare is distorting the lower picture?

It's certainly making the glowing Bussard collectors seem a lot bigger than in the top pic.

We saw this class of ship at a drydock in the first episode of the series. Jorg at his twitter account is, to my knowledge, the first person to point it out.

Jörg Hillebrand on Twitter: "So, I've finally taken a look at the Starfleet ships at the drydocks in the #StarTrekSNW pilot episode "Strange New Worlds". In the drydock behind the USS Enterprise, a Shepard-class ship (top) and a Malachowski-class ship (bottom) are seen. https://t.co/XMuTXnZHct" / Twitter

There appears to be a registry on the dorsal side of the primary hull.

Seeing Captain Pike's friend from "Strange New Worlds" in this episode, and knowing that her ship was near Earth, I am thinking that the ship seen in the first episode is the same ship as seen in the last episode of the season. If that makes sense.

Missed that before. That's an... um... very interesting-looking ship design with the curved nacelle pylons. Looks a bit clunky.

Isn't the other ship a unknown type so far? Given the few images we have so far, it doesn't conform to a Shepard or Malachowski class.

Those are 2 classes from Discovery, Malachowski and Shepard classes.

You want this tweet, it seems to show the ship class from Episode 10

With the same size as a Connie, but ~half the crew, what takes up the extra spaces?
Since it seems with the blue over all coloring of the USS Peregrine, it is a Science derivative of the Constitution class (thus its different class name, Sombra), one could surmise that it contains a lot more Scientific Instruments and scanning equipment to do the planetary surveys it is most often assigned to.
Thus, less crew and a lot more automation.

If this is her ship, it must be used for high security missions (she has a higher clearance than the captain of the flagship!)

Well. it looks like all those people expecting the Enterprise to be given a refit to look like it did in TOS at the end of SNW have just been told they will be disappointed. The Enterprise in 2266 looks just like it does in SNW.
