A section of the Borg are allies or budding members of the UFP - they're as separate from the Borg Collective as the Tok'Ra and Free Jaffa are from the Gou'ald Empire.

 

Is there confirmation from the top about that? Because my reading is that Q's last snap would have merged the Borg and ensured Jurati was the Queen.

 

My head canon is that it would've erased all Borg events in the galaxy at that point, Q's powers were dissolving at that point, and there may be multiple Queens amongst the Borg.

EDIT - it'll be funner to have multiple Borg polities as their main Collective/Empire collapses.

I'll be damned lol. All this time I thought the entire Borg Collective turned good.

 

And in "Unity" we had other XB renegades (plus XBs on that android planet).

 

I think that Jurati's Borg should be it's own thing with a Queen.

I kind of hope that it's a way of resetting The Borg to what they were before First Contact - without a queen or leadership, just a pure collective driven by knowledge and order.

Q barely had the power to transport 3 of them back to the present and the effort killed him, I doubt he had anything to do with that. And Jurati Queen was already there in Episode 1.

Anyways while he didn't directly say it, the showrunner retweeted a post from someone theorizing that they were co-existing.

 

Mostly that, with the Queens in the grand scheme of things almost as expendable and replaceable as the drones, with their own memories, personalities, and victimised alter egos.

I prefer the Discovery and Enterprise makeup for the Andorians.

Also I think their antennae are turned the wrong way.

 

ENT had the best Andorian and Tellarite makeup hands down. And even their hands were the best looks for both.

 

The faces were good. The tellarite hands sucked.
