It's not the pace, it's figuring out where it's going. How do the Soongs and Picard's ancestor connect and how does that lead to whether or not we get the Federation or Confederation?

They've done a ton of twists and turns, but we should've known general track they're heading down and how things connect by now. I hope they lay it out in Episode 8 and then Episodes 9 and 10 are actually doing it.

I don't know. If I'm the one who's criticizing this of all people, that's not good.

Yeah, that's a bit of what I mean (though I wasn't thrilled with the actual pacing of the last two eps either). There's a lot left to wrap up, but a lot of the plots/character direction seems to just be meandering along, and there's really not that much space left to pull out the inevitable plot twist and get everything reined in and focused toward a satisfying wrap.

They didn't even use the Transporter technology for Showering, you think they would waste that kind of massive energy drain on cleaning your arse?

It's about being resource efficient, no matter the timeline.
