Picard is at command level.

Physically fighting with super human strength is beneath him.

Command level people just point, and then thousands, if not millions of men just get to it.

It's also a sign of weakness, that he's over compensating for an inferiority complex.

Immortality however is horse of a different colour.
Except Q says he killed Martok and Gul Dukat in combat.

He also killed Sarek, but that sounds like it was an execution not combat.

Maybe the Botany Bay was built in the 90s but only left Earth with Khan and his people in 2024...
I’ve been seeing this idea around the board that maybe Khan could be part of the big change. This line from TWOK is pretty definitive, though:

KHAN: …Never told you how the Enterprise picked up the Botany Bay, lost in space in the year nineteen hundred and ninety-six, myself and the ship's company in cryogenic freeze?

Wasn’t it mentioned in discovery season 4 that the Q hadn’t been heard of for 600years? Would that be this current time period in Picard? Maybe the Q are moving on to a different plane or somewhere else, and this is Q’s last change to influence and hang out with his favorite human.

Vance mentioned this to Burnham in 3189 if I'm not mistaken (roughly a year after Disco arrived in the 32nd century).
3189 - 600 = 2589

So, not quite, because ST: Picard takes place in 2400 or 2401... ergo, Q would still be appearing in UFP for the next 188 years (it may be possible Picard decided to extend his synth body lifespan until the late 26th century... or the Q found someone else in UFP to mess with after Picard's synth body expired).

Vance is referring to “the Q”, the race of super-individuals, not necessarily to this specific Q.

We never got an exact date of when the Botany Bay left Earth and two directly contradicting facts about Khan in "Space Seed":

Apparently the Botany Bay was supposed to have left Earth in the early 90s, while Khan apparently was defeated in or after 1996

Maybe the Botany Bay was built in the 90s but only left Earth with Khan and his people in 2024...

We saw a model of the Botany Bay in Rain Robinson's office circa 1996.

The most admired leaders often are the ones who tend to get their hands dirty, who lead from the frontlines. And that's not a sign of weakness.

Of course there are exceptions...

but an officer carries a hand gun, not an m60.

A super high ranking officer carries a baton and points at whosoever they deem necessary to be destroyed.

I'm thinking of the brigadier from UNIT in the 1980s/70s.

A lieutenant obviously has the same kind of rifle as the enlisted men, because they are barely officers.

The reality of the kind of war being faught determines if the officers are going to be fancy or take shit seriously.

"We had, morris guns and gattling guns, and the enemy had sharpened grape fruits."

Paraphrasing Blackadder goes forth.

Wouldn't shock me the Borg Queen turned out to be Annika/Seven after all this. It would call back to Seven's brief mini Queen stint about Annika still having work to do and even tie into the Borg Queen having a form of temporal awareness.

I could see the Borg figuring out their assimilate their way to perfection is actually reductionist and unlikely to achieve the end goal and need the comprehension of individuality Seven has gained to undo what they've done to themselves.

Not likely to happen but one can imagine.
I suspect its Dr Jurati
As an Asian man, I've found out the hard way that we have it the hardest in dating, have to fight unmasculine stereotypes, etc.
Asian men should widen their options, you don't have it the hardest, black women do, but even Asian men are caught up in the Eurocentric stereotypes of society.

Or Picard becomes a Q and he appears to test/guide the Federation for the next 188 years.

It's his chair from the Ent-E Ready Room

The Prime Universe it has the that thing draped over the back he was given by the aliens at the start of Insurrection.

Yep, same style there too, tho I think that one was also fabric. The Ent-D ready room chair was pretty unimpressive.

Understandably I don't agree that Asian men (in general) are caught up in any sort of stereotypes (although of course strictly speaking I can only speak from my own experience) or that we are consciously limiting dating options (although certainly it's possible subconsciously we are, but I would say so does everyone to some degree), but I very much agree that black women also have it extremely hard and I completely sympathize with that.

Only another day until this week's Picard!
