They will probably release some new uniforms or something related to the Picard series.

And if you seen the latest Picard season 2 scenes that was shown on Wil Wheaton's Ready Room, they'll do a Borg Red Alert weekend or something Borg related.

That's way too minor to have 7 day countdown for.
Each post has also had a rot13 encoded word. The first 3 day's words have been 'Maybe the biggest'.

Take a look at the last two names on this Picard S2 credits list.

That's probably got something to do with the countdown. Both of those Cryptic Devs are currently responsible for the design of STO ships in the game. There may be a actual ship design from STO onscreen in the show, OR there's a totally new ship in the show that these two Cryptic Devs assisted with designing - and STO will be announcing/releasing said ship the same day the first episode of Picard S2 streams on Paramount+

Yep - It was 4 - and I'm sure they'll have the new version of the U.S.S. Stargazer in a lockbox soon.

STO continues the Mirror Universe plotline with a mission where you play the MU version of your character in a plot involving MU Tilly, Leeta and Janeway! Yes, Kate Mulgrew seems to have gotten the bug for VO work after Prodigy. There's still some mystery over who the MU Emperor is. My money is on:

MU Picard. Picard S2 has basically gone that route, even though they've explicitly stated the warped timeline is NOT the MU, but there are enough similarities. I could see Sir Patrick being persuaded to do some "evil Picard" lines as part of a swansong to the character if we are indeed only getting three seasons of PIC...

Be interesting to see the in-game explanation for that as "The Road to 2409" had the launch of the Stargazer-Class USS Stargazer as a big part of it. Perhaps she'll be "refit" as Sagan-Class like the E-F was recently updated?

They made the Inquiry Class an earlier version of the Avenger Class. They'll probably do something similar here.

Started playing the TOS-era missions yesterday with a new character. Seems a bit snappier than before with some new content.

IIRC, Cryptic remastered a bunch of the missions to make them operate a little smoother. Sadly, they introduced a metric ass-ton of other bugs along the way. The latest oddity is with Personal and Starship Traits getting blanked at seemingly random intervals. No apparent pattern to the anomaly. There's a bunch of others but that one seems to be particularly problematic of late. Folks were hoping that their new owners (Gearbox) might breathe new life into the game, but we have yet to see much in the way of that new influence. At least, that's what I've seen from the console world which is, admittedly, several months behind the PC version.

There is a lot of potential in the game, but it is so janky that it is a chore to play.

Have way through the yearly event at this point, i think i will go for the two free T6 zen store tokens as i enjoy these ships being account wide....the v'ger story was fantastic, we need more movie stuff in this game.

If there is anyway I could get my original account user name changed back to Timofnine I would love to start playing this again. It was changed to ‘*someone else’s name*ofnine’. I miss my Del Taco shuttle. I was told that the username can not be changed back as it is permanent. However how can it be permanent if it was changed from Timofnine to something else when I stopped playing for a year or so?

This has really put me off playing the game again. Anyway, back to playing Timelines instead I think to tickle my Trek gaming itch! :D

No it is the permanent account username, unless they have changed things and it can now be edited back to Timofnine. I’ll log back in sometime and check if they fixed it.

By the time this 3rd event finishes next week i will be up to 2900 of the 3500 needed to pick a reward, but i think i will stick with the two i free zen store ship tokens as i like having them account wide, plus not long until the Risa summer event and a new free ship appears. :)

You'd need to open a ticket with Cryptic/STO support, and to make your case as to why they should change your username. I've never had to deal with the support staff; but from what I've read in the Forums, you need to have a very compelling reason for them to take action in renaming an Account name.

I did do so a few years ago but they said that account names can not be changed. But it *was* changed from Timofnine to someone else’s name but keeping the same format.

I can’t play it if it has someone else’s name on the account rather than mine. I’d maxed leveled my character too and done all the beta testing, used to love posting screen shots in this forum as it was a *beautiful* game. :(
