Captaining the Stargazer?
It's still a spoiler for those who avoid these things. This is not some leak, or secret behind the scenes reveal.
That's just the standard ~2399 Starfleet Delta seen in Season 1, nothing newNew Stragazers oficial Delta.
Starfleet probably cleaned itself up after the events of Season 1, after Oh was outed.Especially after what happened that made him leave in the first place.
Nah most of this is from a segment setting up Season 2's backstory, I'm almost certain the alternate timeline stuff hasn't happened yet.Alternate timeline me thinks.

Yes. It's mentioned in the clip montage. Is it official that Rios is the captain of the ship?
When Jurati comes on the bridge in the Ready Room clips, she says "So, what's the big hurry... Captain?" to Rios.Is it official that Rios is the captain of the ship?
And I agree about the spoiler tag. Just because there’s been an official reveal doesn’t mean that people who haven’t seen the show yet will want to know about it. Plus, there’s already two threads discussing this.
It's not a spoiler, any more than Q, Guinan, the new 10 forward, the Borg Queen, or a ton of other things showcased in the trailers and promo material, all which legit got their own appropriately titled threads, for people to hype and discuss, soon after they were shown and announced.Muddied up the title and added spoiler tag for people wanting to go in cold.
He was forced out but still "smelled" like "SF to the core".Well, yeah, I'd sort of gathered that.
I meant, why? What made him return to the fleet? He didn't seem like the type who would. Especially after what happened that made him leave in the first place.
Didn't see one for the Stargazer? From the original thread:.
Love the comparison.![]()

Your link goes toHere's my best guess of what the bridge layout could look like:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wNNh_aTddVCevTlSX6SUpmINJAHtPk9g/view
I think there are three chairs in the middle - the way the one next to Rios' big chair looks too far of to the side and behind that railing to have there be only two. The bridge as such seems pretty wide... The back feature looks to be a door to a conference room. I'm guessing this Stargazer won't have THAT many sets besides the bridge and corridor, so they'll have to economize what they can use. I don't think this ship will be the center of too much action this season, but I'm hoping I could be wrong!

Apparently he gave La Sirena to Seven, although hopefully she brings La Sirena on board as the permanent Shuttle/Runabout of the Stargazer
Now wouldn't that be something!
Though I worry she might be a little too big for that, depending on how large the shuttle bay is...
But somehow picturing Rios without Sirena feels strange, as good as the pips look on him, so I hope she sticks around post-Q-shenanigans.
Going by the exterior shot, and layoutThe Stargazer will need a pretty huge shuttlebay to bring La Sirena on board. I'm not sure it'd even fit into Discovery. Then again the Stargazer looks like a pretty huge ship.
