Some of that is the camera angle so it's probably smaller than it looks here, but yeah, it's bigger than the TOS transporter pad no matter what the actual size.

An actress (and stunt double) for 'Young La'an' is listed, so it seems like we'll be getting flashbacks of her.

Does the entire interior of the ship have to be so damn super-reflective? Looks like a funhouse.

I'm hoping it's not going to be quite that bad in the series itself as I want to be able to see what's going on.
