Imho, this alternative Voyager is the only 32nd century Starfleet design I dislike.

Ah, that old designer trick – "I'm going to force you to pick the one I want you to pick by giving you that one and a terrible alternative". I've done that for UI/UX commissions a few times myself. The problem is when they still pick the one you don't like...
