Spoilers 31st/32nd Century Ships Revealed

It was necessary to add 'bigger on the inside' technology to Discovery because 32nd century turbolifts are too fast and no one would be able to have a conversation inside them if they didn't massively extend the distance between destinations.

Voy-J concept

Where is that from? I kind of like it... at least it's an attempt to do something original.
That’s from the VOY-J magazine, Ryan Dening explains he usually submits two different designs for each ship to the suits, a good one and an alternative.

Imho, this alternative Voyager is the only 32nd century Starfleet design I dislike.

Ah, that old designer trick – "I'm going to force you to pick the one I want you to pick by giving you that one and a terrible alternative". I've done that for UI/UX commissions a few times myself. The problem is when they still pick the one you don't like... ;)
