Spoilers Star Trek: Prodigy 1x09 - "A Moral Star, Part 1"

This episode isn't showing up for me either on my Fire TV or the Paramount + web site.

I have force quit the app on my TV and cleared its cache, but the episode is still not showing up. And yes, in my personal canon, Kirk marries McCoy's daughter.

 

Not showing up on my phone or tablet’s apps either. Episode seems to have been pulled for whatever reason.

 

Maybe due to that rather abrupt ending. Felt like something was missing

 

That sucks! I’ve experienced this a few times before on Paramount+, and the episode is usually back up fairly quickly. ‪‪I went ahead and reported it via their help process.

Hopefully it won’t be missing much longer!

 

I wouldn’t know as I haven’t been able to watch.

 

I’m just glad today is a WFH day and I don’t have a lot of meetings. I can squeeze it in at some point.

 

The modern Streaming Systems aren't as great as the old Broadcast system or a true "IPTV" based system where the episodes are available on command.

 

Im sorry but I’ll take the modern steaming system over traditional broadcast — no ads, aren’t beholden to an exact time an episode airs. Yes, there are issues that crop up like this but it’s the exception as opposed to the rule. I gave up cable ten years ago and haven’t looked back once. I do have an antenna for live events but use it sparingly.

 

Great episode..! But what an awkward ending: it's like they just cut to black in the middle of a shot, even the music is cut off abruptly... Felt very weird.... Other than that, awesome stuff..!

 

Episode still isn’t up. I gather it probably won’t come back online at least until the US East coast gets to work in about an hour. Odd thing is it shows up in the iOS TV app but when you tap it, it goes to P+ and says the episode is unavailable.

 

Maybe the have taken it offline to redo the ending and make a re-upload.. cause the ending clearly was an editing mistake

 

So weird. The strangest thing is there’s no explanation. But again: maybe the PR peeps ain’t at work quite yet.

 

A 9 from me. It was a great setup for next week's conclusion, and I loved seeing the crew working more as a team as the show develops.

The new uniforms were really cool, and I loved Janeway changing her's as well.
