I thought the Werewolf by Night Halloween special would have been due this year too, but it probably would have had to have started filming already if that was gonna happen. I guess we'll see it next year.

Apologies for the double post but this popped up in my YouTube feed and it's brilliant:

Hadn't seen the updated one.

I wonder if they could do something similar with the Multiverse? Using Loki and No Way Home footage.

The Marvel Studios shows are paint by numbers with predictable, typical Marvel endings. I like them, but I'll take s1 of DD, JJ & Punisher over them any day.

I'm quite happy to take both the Disney+ and Netflix MCU shows. The ABC and Hulu ones as well, for that matter. But if we're playing favourites I'd go...

Wandavision
Loki
Daredevil
Agents of SHIELD
What If?
Punisher
Hawkeye
Jessica Jones
Luke Cage
Agent Carter
Defenders
Falcon & Winter Soldier
Runaways
Cloak & Dagger
Helstrom
Iron Fist
Inhumans

Except for Inhumans and the first season of Iron Fist I've at least liked everything else, and loved a lot of it. Also I consider Daredevil the best made show, but tend to enjoy whacky sci-fi superhero stuff more than street level gritty superhero stuff, thus Wandavision, Loki and nearly Agents of SHIELD coming ahead of it on my personal list.

^ Am I the only one that didn't watch 'Helstrom' and totally forgot it ever existed until just right now? I think that should probably it at the bottom of any list, no? Ouch, and that'd be under 'Inhumans' too!
Ah! Finally updated with Yelena from Hawkeye, I see. Nice. I love these videos. They truly convey the sense of the entire universe changing in the blink of an eye.
Personally I would have cheated Monica into it too, just by running the footage of her bliping back in reverse. I mean she was alone and asleep, so it should technically look the same it either direction. ;)

I haven't seen Hellstrom either, but I haven't had Hulu since it was released either. I might check it out the next time I hook up with Hulu.

Does that add up though, with it being daylight across America and in Africa at the same time? I've just got home from a night shift and my brain isn't gonna work to do the math right now.

Early morning on the Pacific Coast of North America would be late afternoon in Eastern Africa. It is a nine hour difference, I think--although that could change depending on US daylight savings time.

I haven't seen it either and have no interest in it. I also haven't watched Inhumans, The Runaways (I keep meaning to especially since I love Brian K. Vaughan's work)...and the second season of Punisher (I just can't bring myself to care, but that's more commentary on the character than Netflix).

I honestly expected to see Monica included in that fashion and was a bit disappointed it didn't happen. They had one open space available, too!

Ignorance is bliss. I only "watched" like half of it anyway. By the second or third episode I was already fast-forwarding though certain scenes because I just didn't care.
The Runaways (I keep meaning to especially since I love Brian K. Vaughan's work)
I hung in for most of that, but never got around to finishing off the last season. It's not bad. Not as good as 'Cloak & Dagger', which while certainly not my favourite was better than I thought it would be and a little overlooked, I find.
...and the second season of Punisher (I just can't bring myself to care, but that's more commentary on the character than Netflix).
Yeah I started to watch season 2, but just tailed off. I'll probably get back to it eventually...some time. But yeah, I found it rather hard to care. Frank works best with someone like Mat to bounce off of. At least the first season had Microchip.

Overall I found that most of the Marvel Netflix shows had a real diminishing returns problem. Daredevil was the only one that felt consistent in terms of the story quality. And in fairness Iron Fist's second season was better than the first, but that was a VERY low bar to clear.

Agents of SHIELD is still the best Marvel show overall of course. That's just a fact.

Which of course means it would have been late night/early morning in East Asia and Oceania. That's actually one aspect of the blip they haven't addressed yet: for that part of the world, most people wouldn't have known what was going on until they woke up the next morning to find half of everyone missing. And presumably the ones that were snapped away in their sleep likely returned in the same state. Talk about a literal Rip Van Winkle experience!

I watched Helstrom and it was just ok. Nothing special and the only Marvel universe connection was a Roxxon sign. The lead was pretty bland too. Sydney Lemmon played his sister and she was good.

I quite liked both The Runaways and Cloak & Dagger.

To be fair, I watched all of Inhumans.
