Getting the "Creative Force" behind DD and Punisher means getting Jeph Loeb. And he's the last thing the MCU needs.
The first seasons of DD and Punisher are still better than anything produced by Marvel Studios for TV. If Loeb had anything to do with s1 of Jessica Jones, you can add that to the list too.

Beh, compare the first 6 episodes of DD S1 and Punisher S1 to all of WandaVision, Falcon/Winter Soldier, Loki and Hawkeye....the Disney Plus shows did more in the same amount of time. And were better acted and plotted. DD and Punisher wasted time trying to be "Grounded Crime Dramas".

Hard disagree. I personally enjoyed WandaVision, Loki, and Hawkeye more than any of DD or Punisher. JJ season 1 is my favorite of the Netflix shows, but that was largely due to the transcendent performance of David Tennant. Season 2 was lesser without him, and I was so bored with season 2 I never watched season 3. DD and Punisher could have done with a bit of tightening up the pace. I agree with others who have argued they told 8 or 10 episodes worth of story in 13. Meanwhile I love the D+ Marvel shows to pieces.

The Marvel Studios shows are paint by numbers with predictable, typical Marvel endings. I like them, but I'll take s1 of DD, JJ & Punisher over them any day.

Wanda vision is top level all time great television. Loki is top level all time genre television. Both are classics. Daredevil and Jessica Jones were top tier but not quite all timers.

Thankfully, it’s not a zero sum game. And if it gets me labelled easily pleased, I don’t care. I have enjoyed or loved everything Marvel produced for Netflix or D+.

The only thing I’ve not enjoyed/even finished is Inhumans. You ask me it was inhuman to even release that.
Agreed on all counts. It's just silly to pit the Netflix shows against the Disney+ shows. Why can't people be allowed to love both for different reasons?

No no no, all subjective opinions must be made to fight in gladiatorial combat, with no quarter! Lest how else will we feel validated that our subjective opinions are the correct ones if we don't unilaterally denigrate and ridicule all others?!
Such is the way the internet works.

I can't even compare the Netflix shows against each other. I love Jessica Jones while finding Daredevil to be highly engaging. Comparison would just rob me of actually trying to enjoy the shows.

Especially since DD and JJ are tonally completely different with a different focus.

What i love about the Netflix shows is their grounded aspects with occasional low level superheroics. Marvel movies a huge flashy movies with an established formula which i really like but they need to appeal to a broad demographic spectrum to bring in as much money as possibe and through sheer miracle they do this while still managing to tell good stories, have engaging characters and a great overarching big story that slowly developed.

Netflix shows are far more centered on what made the specific hero who he/she is, they bleed when they get into fights, sometimes more than is realistic in the case of Frank Castle, who must have lowkey healing powers at the speed from which he recovers from the most nasty injuries. We get to spend more time with them through the seasons which removes the frantic pace of the MCU movies and i really like that .

Both have their place and i am really curious how Disney will integrate Daredevil and Kingpin into their lineups. I just hope they continue their Netflix storylines and i would be ok to have a little less blood as a tradeoff to see new stories with them.

Isn't that pretty much what the last several decades of their comics have been?
As for Netflix vs D+, I love both sets of shows. Honestly, they are such different types of shows, that I find it hard to even compare them to each other.

So according to the Marvel Japan website here is the 2022 lineup.

Moonknight
Doctor Strange 2
She Hulk
I am Groot
What If..? season 2
Thor Love and Thunder
Ms. Marvel
Secret Invasion
Wakanda Forever

It doesn't mention the Guardians of the Galaxy holiday special but I imagine that's end of 2022.
