Discovery has made its own canon. While I haven't seen that episode, DSC klingons look quite different than TNG+ klingons, so redesigned blood for DSC shouldn't be taken to mean that maybe SOME klingons have the pink blood and SOME have the red blood or whatnot.

The Klingons in Point of Light (and Discovery Season 2) were redesigned to be slightly closer in appearance to TNG era Klingons (hair brought back, skulls shaved down, skin color variation lessened).

And Star Trek: Picard and now Lower Decks has made references to Discovery's design ethos, so we can't really ignore it as non-canonical anymore.

True, but I consider DSC to be sort of it's own. If SNW follows the same aesthetic and storyline, I would group it in with DSC too.

They really haven't, no more than TMP did. They reference the wider canon constantly.

I just chalk up the Klingon look in DSC Seasons 1 and 2 to be the efforts to correct the Augment Virus. There's even a line by Kol where he mentions that the events that season are "the second" attempt by humanity to destroy the Klingon identity.

Redesigning the Klingons is part and parcel to Star Trek. It's been going on since TOS forgot what they looked like back in Season Two. Radical redesign for TMP and make up artists (including DISCO's) have been riffing on that ever since.

I hope we get both ridged Klingons and ones like the Augment Klingons in ENT. But I'm not going to hold my breath unless someone at SNW really did their homework and realized the mistakes DSC had made.

L'rell is probably going to return. I presume they will tone down the look, and maybe include some straight up TNG Klingons. Then, the ridgeless Klingons will be introduced as an upstart caste or something and we can draw our own conclusions.
