I doubt this is a thing yet..... But have we heard anything about where SNW will stream internationally?
From what I’m seeing… they recently announced that Paramount+ now has a partnership deal with Sky in Europe. As for SNW - someone in charge of Trek (I forgot who, I think it was Kurtzman himself but don’t quote me on that) said in an interview a while ago that Netflix has the European rights to Disco AND its spin-offs (like Short Treks). So, if they sell SNW as a Disco spin-off, it would have to go to Netflix. However, if they sell it as a completely new show (which is what I think they’ll be doing), it’ll most likely be on that Sky thingy. Their ultimate goal is to launch Paramount+ globally AND make it the home for Trek, after all. They don’t want for other streaming services to have Trek, it makes no sense for their business model. They want to sell their own streaming service. So, in the long run, my guess is that they’re gonna wait for Netflix and Prime to run out of their current contracts with CBS and then they’re gonna pull Trek from there and it will all be on Sky/Paramount+.
The weird thing is, we haven't had any of the Short Treks since season one on Dutch Netflix. If we had, I would have said SNW on Netflix is a given. Now I'm not so sure.
Sorry, my mistake.Fun fact. No. I'm Dutch. I have TOS through ENT on Netflix, as is Disco. Picard and Lower Decks on Amazon. This is why I said internationally.
Sorry, my mistake.
We're good. No, my bad. I re-read what I said and it came off very snappy. I was a bit stressed out at the time. So the fault lies with me.
So I guess there have still been some reshoots or redo's.
And probably a lot closer to the TOS Enterprise, at least in external appearance.
