    I love the show, but it still bothers me that Agnes murdered a man in cold blood and everyone else on the show doesn't seem to be mad at her for it. They were sort of mad at her for a little bit but now they seem to be all buddy/buddy with her now (especially in season 2 trailer), as though she did nothing wrong. Doesn't seem very realistic to me.

    In Voyager, the treatment of Lon Suder (a murderer) by the rest of the crew was much more realistic. No one really wanted anything to do with him and Tuvok was really the only one who showed him any sort of respect.

    That's because she was acting under duress.

    Meaning, she only killed Bruce Maddox because of the mind meld imposed on her by "Commodore Oh".

    Now that the truth has come out - i.e. that Oh was really General Nedar, an undercover Romulan spy acting on behalf of the Tal Shiar - I'm sure that Jurati would be absolved of all blame.

    Actually, the Titan was out hunting down Pakleds and so Riker and Troi missed the party.

    You know that Picard killed literally tens of thousands of people while under mind-control, right? The whole Locutus thing?

    We also have a guy who witnessed his father figure murder someone because he was blackmailed into it, a woman who believes the Zhat Vash are the Illuminati fluoridating their water, a guy who is a casual killer, and another Borg.

    This is the LEAST likely crew in the Federation to judge her too harshly.

    Quite a different situation, given the cause of Suder's behaviour was entrenched rather than fleeting.

    If you want a Voyager comparison, try Vorik - he attempted to rape B'Elanna while under the influence of pon farr. It was never mentioned again, and they were working together without issues a few episodes later.

    There's also the weirdest element of it that the Zhat Vash's insane argument also came true.

    Jurati: Somehow, my ex managed to create a bunch of robots on a planet with a "organic life ending button"

    Well, it's kind of like the probe from TVH. A civilization causing destruction because it lost contact with a specific species

    Are Orla Brady and Brent Spiner regulars for this season? A release that all the websites are repeating mention them with the main cast.

    To be fair, the 'organic life ending button' wasn't on the planet until Sutra and Soji built it.

    Since there's a shot of the Los Angeles Sanctuary District, that implies that we're looking at a time around 2024 or so...immediately prior to the Bell Riots of Future Tense.

    The logo of this Sanctuary District also appears to be different from the one used in San Francisco with a slightly different American eagle(?) and shape to the symbol.

    The Bell Riots were in 2024, but the Sanctuary Districts had been in use for several years at that point.

    Calling My Predictions:

    * Q shows up in Picard's life
    * Q snaps his fingers
    * Picard finds himself in a fascist Federation that is much-much more functional than the Mirror Universe (less Nazi, more modern dictatorship)
    * Picard believes Q is responsible but discovers something happens in the 21st century that makes the Earth go down a dark path
    * Picard assembles the team, gets the crew
    * They grab the Borg Queen from the Federation's black ops site
    * They go back for some wacky 1st Contact and Voyage Home hijinks
    * There's some evil nasty people attempting to rewrite history to create a Fascist Federation.
    * Picard stops them
    * Q makes some pontifications about Picard, his life, and ideals then vanishes, revealing he's been on Team Picard the whole way.

    If the Berman Era writing team were producing this? Yes. But there could be something very stupid in that mix now. :lol: I'm definitely interested in seeing where this is headed but after Season 1 there could be something pretty dumb ahead even for Star Trek.

    If you look closely in the trailer you can see Picard taljing to the actor from The Shield but also was second officer on the timeship Relativity on Voyager. I think they are going to be in the mix at least for one episode. Also it looks to me their is fight on a starship were people are wearing the grey Starfleet Uniforms to me which is what they wore in that episode but with a different comm badge. As for what I think will be going on is the new timeline will be created in order to prevent the Destruction of the Federation in the Future. Perhaps from The Burn. Picard has a choice. He can preserve this distorted version of The Federation or he can restore his Federation but with the knowledge it will not last forever. Picard is giving the choice by Q. Also maybe he even finds himself in conflict with some of his crew ad to what choice must be taken and whether or not it's right for a single man to even be making that choice that will effect billions of people. Maybe that is what Q wants Picard to learn. That the choice to change the world should not be up to just him.
