I love this. Would you mind if I tried a riff on this sometime?

STID started with that and ended up with this:Re: Class J cargo ship Harry Mudd commandeers then loses in trying to escape the Enterprise.
If I recall correctly Spock says the ship is a small cargo ship. On the bridge main viewscreen the ship appears as a distorted or lopsided oval. Do we take what we see onscreen as a starting point or start from scratch?
Well allow me to finish my model first.
The bow is based on the front end of Matt Jefferies’ initial design for the shuttlecraft. The bottom is basically the shape of a boat.
Reminds me of a BSG shuttle by way of Blade Runner...There's also the Cyrano Jones mini-ship they built for DS9's T&T, hanging out in K-7's landing bay. Granted, not technically TOS, but kind-of.

The Thasian appeared on the bridge as most likely a projection that humans could relate to, unless we assume ancient Thasians also looked human. Or maybe they were just accustomed to assuming that image when communicating with Charlie.
Since @publiusr brought it up:The Thasian appeared on the bridge as most likely a projection that humans could relate to, unless we assume ancient Thasians also looked human.
Thanks!I know you repurposed the Enterprise from “Space Seed”, but your Antares design and the photo composition are perfect. This image looks like it could have been lifted straight from “Charlie X” (in an alternate universe where the producers had the $$$ and time to build the model).
Smashing!
