The Hero Collector Handbooks

I was going to check the preview on Amazon for you, but it stops before it makes it to the movie era.
I was surprised to see that it actually includes the Discovery era information. Was all of that put together just for the book?

I have a question about the TOS handbook, which I finally decided to stop putting off. I really love the bridge layouts which I'm familiar with from ST magazines I've collected in the past. I remember flipping through TOS handbook in the bookstore, but I can't remember if the book includes both TMP and TWoK versions of the bridge (and for that matter, TVH, TFF, and TUC versions for Enterprise-A)?

It has layouts for "The Cage" version of the bridge, the classic TOS Enterprise bridge, the refit 1701 bridge, the 1701-A bridge (presumably from ST VI, and the Discovery-version of the Enterprise bridge. No differentiation for the other movies you mentioned.

I tried there, too; but I didn't get have as much success as you did. Thanks for checking! It will be interesting to see the Discovery information again, and nice to have it compiled in a book together with other familiar information about the classic Enterprise. Don't need to fire up home video or the all-access channel for the occasional reminder look.

Thanks for that! Seems like they missed a trick for really fussy fans, even the differences between TMP and WoK versions of the bridge can matter to some people (like myself). Spock's science station moves from the back of the bridge to the right of the captain's chair? Huge difference! (Because it resembles TOS configuration a little more closely, comfortably familiar for an obsessive like myself).

There are four bridge consoles swapped around between TMP and TWOK. Science is moved two positions counterclockwise (to the other side of the starboard lift), which bumps engineering five positions clockwise (between communications and defense), which bumps environmental engineering to the diametrically opposite position (left of science's new place), which bumps internal security to the rear where science was.

You're right that it's closer to the TOS configuration for science and engineering, but it's farther from the TOS placement for environmental (which was next to engineering on the portside).
