Have Scotty and O'Brien ever met in a Trek novel?

Just rewatched Relics. I know O'Brien was transitioning to DS9 at the time, but I was sad he didn't get to meet Scotty. They're my two favorite Trek characters, and I would've loved to have seen them geek out over engineering stuff.

Anyway, has there ever been a Trek novel taking place after Relics or involving time travel shenanigans that allowed Scotty and O'Brien to meet?

I know they appear together in Aftermath by Christopher L. Bennett, which is part of the Starfleet Corps of Engineers series.
But I don't know if this is their first meeting or even if they actually talk to each other.

They do, but only briefly "onscreen." It's Scotty who assigns O'Brien to work with the da Vinci crew, and they're implicitly well-acquainted, but they're in only one scene together, and it's a group conversation where they're mostly talking to other people.

I don't recall whether I was being consistent with some earlier crossover appearance or just figured it stood to reason that they'd know each other, since they were both based on Earth at the time.
