I have been angered about some of the comments about Grace Tame being selected as Australian of the Year.

comment such as this one

“This woman had a relationship with an older married (probably unhappily married) man and now she is the Australian of the Year for destroying his life’.

She was 15 and he was a 58 year old teacher who groomed a student. How can anyone see him as the victim?
And she was not awarded Australian of the Year because she was a victim. She was a survivor who fought to have the law that was gagging her from speaking out so that she could tell her story and advocate for other victims.

I think we can blame the guy being considered a victim partly as a result of an interview he had with Bettina Arndt.

In a sympathetic 17-minute interview with Bester uploaded in 2017, Ms Arndt accused Ms Tame of engaging in “sexually provocative behaviour” adding that school girls “should not exploit their seductive powers to ruin the lives of men”.

Not only did this guy exploit a 15 year old but after he was released for that crime he went onto Facebook and boasted about what he did to her, mentioning her by name, and giving graphic details about what he did to her and calling it awesome. For that he was charged with creating child exploitation material and sent back to prison.

Latham and Miranda plus the woman who made that Red Pill movie, Cassie Jaye. So it seems that Bettina Arndt is definitely with the MRA.

In in this video, from around the 20.20 mark Kevin Logan gives his opinion on Bettina’s performance at that conference (warning, Kevin uses rather strong language). She talked about sexual assault, domestic violence, Women’s Studies, rugby among other things.
