I am hoping that the idea of putting all the eggs in one basket with dilithium as a warp source and power modulator will be explored.

Putting all the spores in one basket was a splendid idea for Lorca, who wanted total control over the thing. The current situation is rather different.

But we still haven't invented a substitute for air or water or heat. We really should have had those for thousands of years already, considering how often there's a fatal shortage.

Aren't there a very limited number of his species with that level of empath ability. Like just him and his brother?

The universe is so huge, and only speaking about our galaxy just a moment ago nobody did know about this planet. There could be plenty of similiar planets.

Also everbody can use this planet just for causing another burn. Its is the ultimate super power device.

    Omega out :-D

It's rather strange that there would be an entire planet of dilithium while we don't have any on Earth, which goes against the principle that the universe is isotropic.

We don't? Is that an established fact?
Drema IV (TNG "Pen Pals") had the largest deposits of dilithium known in the 24th Century. It was also was causing the planet's destruction. I suspect Theta Zeta suffered similarly from it's large deposits of dilithium only with no Starfleet to reverse the effects. Other planets with large deposits of dilithium are most likely very unstable.
Can they? Su Kal was born and raised there under a unique set of circumstances. Then there's the deadly radiation.

I think I read some non canon infos somewhere that Earth has dilithium, but didn’t realize it’s properties and mistook it for some other mineral.

I recall it being mistaken for quartz.

Zefram Cochrane didn't use dilithium to help propel his first warp ship so I'm guessing Earth doesn't have dilithium and it was something we started using after the Vulcans introduced it to us or we discovered it outside our solar system.

I've rewatched the Battle inside of FedHQ like a dozen times now, and I've come to conclusion that Discovery is using blue weapons, while all the other fed ships are using blue'ish green weapons.

At first I thought it was just the lighting of the scene, but there are a couple shots where you can see both colours of weapons.

In "People of Earth", Earth has dilithium - a substantial stash, from what I remember - but is just sitting on it and not sharing with its neighbors in the solar system. That's why Wen and his ilk from Titan were constantly attacking Earth ships.

I thinks he's referring natural deposits of dilithium.

precisely: in the bookverse we’ve always had dilithium but couldn’t recognize it from lithium until after the first contact. Nothing ever said one way or the other in canon.

As the season progressed the idea that Titan could not contact Earth becomes more and more stupid.

How about just taking off your scary evil looking mask Titan man

Discovery, after multiple valiant efforts has finally got its own contender for the Worst Trek Episode ever with this entry. In Star Trek's hall of shame, "That Hope is You, Part 2" now stands alongside Spock's Brain, Threshold, Shades of Gray, Profit and Lace and whichever was Enterprise's worst episode (never saw enough of the series to elect an episode). Well done Kurtzman.

Spock’s brain gets too much bad rep: the storyline and acting are so silly they’re fun and the camerawork in some scenes was far above the usual.

It seems that 3x07 was supposed to be the last episode you watched:

Thanks for keeping tabs on me, I'm flattered. What can I say, I had heard so much about this episode I just couldn't resist the urge to see what the fuss was all about.

You really have nothing to thank me for. Out of curiosity, I checked what you had previously written about Discovery to verify how valid your criticism was and it was the fifth link in your posting history.
