I see people skipped the part where I said it was a bit pointing out how pointless and tedious that being exact about canon can be.
tell that to those misgynistic asshats that call themselves that. entitlement is their big unifierInvoluntary celibacy is an oxymoron, by the way. There is no right to get laid.

The timelines split just before his Kelvin birth, so the fetus was the same.In the Kelvin timeline only, we aren’t sure about the Prime yet. Sulu was gay in one timeline and straight in the other, this has also been confirmed in the Mirror universe as well. This could be why Prime Kirk looks different than Kelvin Kirk.
Yes, I know what an oxymoron is; that's why I used it.No, it's not an oxymoron, because you can have voluntary celibacy as well. An oxymoron is "a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction (e.g. faith unfaithful kept him falsely true )."

Not in France, we are protected against this kind of abuse. You can only fire people for something they did while they were supposed to work for you, not during their off time. Private life here is private. I am afraid your form of capitalism has just created a new kind of slavery. It doesn’t matter what people deserve. That’s just how the real world works. You do something fucked up or reflects badly on you, it can cost you your job because they don’t want to be associated with it and lose money. It doesn’t even have to be something bad or political. If you post of Facebook pictures of you smoking weed in a state where it is illegal, you can get fired. It’s all in the contract you sign when you get a job, you literally sign away your ability to fight it in most cases. That’s just how capitalism works.
According to the first google result "celibacy is the state of voluntarily being unmarried, sexually abstinent, or both"No, it's not an oxymoron, because you can have voluntary celibacy as well. What the fuck do you mean by shoved down your throats? It’s just saying a group exists. You’re saying fine with people being gay or trans but you never want to see any or hear anyone mention them at all. You live in reality, gay people and trans people exist and have just as much right to do whatever they want like you do. You have to learn to live with people who live and think differently than you do because you can’t handle anyone not being exactly like you being something that has to go through your brain at some point.
And labels aren’t for you, it’s for someone to identify themselves as. So they know there are other people like them. You just don’t want to think about the fact that you aren’t the default, you just a kind of human just like all the others.
According to the first google result "celibacy is the state of voluntarily being unmarried, sexually abstinent, or both"
Thus, involuntary celibacy is involuntary voluntarily being unmarried, sexually abstinent, or both.
Humans label every single thing, it's how we think. And you don't choose a sexual identity, you're born that way. Your problem is that you don't like the labels that describe you. What heterosexual and cisgender? All that means is that you're attracted to the opposite gender and your gender aligns with your body at birth. It's just a word that describes a certain aspect, not anything about who you are as a person or how you behave. We can't have some aspect of how humans exist without labeling it something, how else would you describe or mention it? What you're asking for makes absolutely no sense. It sounds like you're just uncomfortable with the very notions of sexuality and gender. If so, you may just want to avoid any discussion of this. But given that you voluntarily engaged in this thread to whine about how you don't want it shoved down your throat I doubt that will happen. That's not what I meant at all. You basically understood the opposite of what I said. I am perfectly Ok with people choosing a sexual identity as long as it's their own choosing. What I am saying is that some people don't want to be labeled, just as some people don't want to be categorized as left or right and that should be also fine.
Do you get what I am saying?
What about people who detransition? And you don't choose a sexual identity, you're born that way.

How does that affect sexual identity at birth? What about people who detransition?
If it was consensual, what's the problem?A friend of mine, did some experimenting with homosexuality when he was a lot younger and someone used that to make his girlfriend break up with him. Do you think that's normal or is he the victim of some kind of abuse
...
If it was consensual, what's the problem?
So the problem is homophobia. I agree. The problem is being pigeonholed for life because of something you did at one time in your life. I can't be any clearer than that.
If it was consensual, what's the problem?
Humans label every single thing, it's how we think.
