I think it does start with an "A"..........We had Discover on Netflix, Picard on Amazon, so I'd be willing to bet Lower Decks will be Apple![]()

Yeah, I remember that being said about Disco as well. They stated Short Treks didn't actually count under those circumstances, but presumably Section 31 and SNW will (though I suspect they might try tobfind some technicality about TOS to renege on SNW and Netflix).Amazon. Strange New Worlds will be on Netflix. I remember reading something years ago that Netflix would have the rights to all the direct spin-offs from Discovery.
I have been told there's an announcement coming as soon as Monday possibly...........so we will see.

Maybe they couldn't move the release up in the international markets?TrekCore has an article with statements from Mike McMahan about the international distribution of Lower Decks. The short version: He can't say anything official, but they're working on it. I'm not quite sure I understand how the pandemic is to blame for this, but at least he's not staying silent on it anymore.

Yeah, re-reading it again I think I got it now: CBS decided to premiere Lower Decks two months earlier than originally planned. Which means there hasn't been enough time sorting out an international distribution deal. Well, he seems to be pretty sure that we'll be seeing it in short order and that they are working on it in the background. Let's hope he's right.Maybe they couldn't move the release up in the international markets?
But from what I know – here’s the pieces of this I know for you guys to hold on to – is there are, in the works, a way for you guys to watch it. I don’t know the timeline, but the reason you guys don’t know yet is squarely because of COVID… because the timelines for everything we’ve been doing for production have been completely thrown out.
