Anyone got any info on international (specifically UK) release? Only just seen the second season of short treks after getting them on BluRay.

I'm surprised that we haven't heard yet. Though I guess the release date is a lot sooner than was originally announced.

It could literally go right down to the wire, for all we know. I’d be very surprised if they don’t find an international distributor, though, before launch. Heck, I’d not be surprised if they already had one in place, but just hadn’t announced it, yet.

Given the entertainment industry came to a standstill, due to COVID-19, streaming services (or TV channels) are going to be desperate to sign up new content that is already produced and ready to air. This puts CBS in a pretty strong position, I think.

It’s not 1990 any more. If it’s not available legally and concurrently, people will acquire it via other methods

I'm sure they'll make us buy a third premium streaming service in order to see Lower Decks outside the US:lol:

Okay, stop right there. As a longtime member you should be aware of the rules regarding the discussion of piracy. Consider this a friendly warning.

I already have most of them. If they add it to one i don’t already have then I’ll be getting that too!

It’ll probably hit DVD or Blu-Ray eventually.

Nowadays you never know. For all we know the powers that be at CBS could decide to stop releasing TV on Blu-Ray, or just go the MOD DVD route by the time Lower Decks gets to home video.

Particularly with a fan base such as the one CBS are dealing with, when it comes to Star Trek.
