Star Trek: Hit It

That sounds like a porno.

Calling this"Star Trek: Enterprise" might be the stupidest naming decision in the history of any franchise. MAYBE you could argue for it if they had called ENT "Enterprise" with no Star Trek like they did in the first two seasons.

It is a production placeholder/working title.........calm yourselves.

Not to throw a spanner in the works, I'm going to double down on it 100% being called "Star Trek: Enterprise". So if people are really unhappy, make yourselves heard, because they already have licensing and merchandising partners for the show. (Full disclosure: one of my colleagues is one of them.)

It might be the second Star Trek: Enterprise to some, but it'll be the first Star Trek: Enterprise to me. ;)

In my case, I can't even be bothered to pretend this is an issue to get mock-outraged about.

Do you know more about the show? Filming/release dates, how many episodes, stand aloneish episodes, multiple seasons show etc.?

Wait, but if you yourself can’t point to a more public source than “one of my colleagues”, then surely that info is protected by an NDA, and if so, why did you learn about it and why are you telling the world in turn? At the very least we should stop right here until something official is announced. (And if this is happening and the producers truly cannot come up with a more original title, then they aren’t worried that it signals thirst for immediate casual-viewer recognition as opposed to putting out something great and letting it build up momentum by word of mouth under an original title, such as Breaking Bad.)

Reminds me of when Enterprise was in production and we had a guy that said he was at a BBQ with someone spilling their guts about everything.........or maybe it was his uncle and the uncle told him. I don't believe anything he posted ever came to pass.

This is a massive back and forth point of contention on the Literature forum, that I'm not going to get into here. I am quite open about my connection too - I'm the licensing agent and producer of the upcoming Ninja Turtles tabletop, and the same team I work with now manage Star Trek.

Bottom line: the new licensing team don't care if I list every single license they're currently looking for partners for. I was encouraged to post it here actually, because if it gets interest, it gets interest. (To put this into perspective, Nickelodeon had a Star Trek stand at the New York Toy Fair with brand new Enterprise concept art, and absolutely nobody covered it. So the only way is up.)

Unfortunately, many if not all of the writers that do the tie-in books (some of whom are deeply concerned about future commissions) are extremely unhappy that I'm so blasé about this. One of whom tried to enquire further, and was put in his place rudely.

My own info? Nothing, except it's called "Star Trek: Enterprise (NEW)" and is already being licensed.

It's the Internet. Rumors abound.
