Just watched the one for the first episode. I like Wheaton better then previous hosts for these post episode talk shows. I especially liked the segment on recording of the main theme, liked the theme better when I heard it here.
too many and he’s likely sick of it. Like the people who make a joke to a waitress about a tip thinking they were the first person to come up with it.
He's said before that he'd love to return to Star Trek so long as he never, ever has to play Wesley again.
I didn't really care for any of the DISCOVERY after-shows, but I really liked this one. I think Wheaton is the perfect host for something like this.
This sheds some interesting light on how they got Stewart on board. It sounds like Stewart rejected Kurtzman, Goldsman, and Beyer's draft, but came on board after reading a treatment written solely by Chabon. Am I interpreting that right?
Honestly, that's an OLLLLLLLLLLLLLD joke that has lived TOO long...Wes was far mature by the time he entered Starfleet Academy, experienced the scandal, and came out as a Lieutenant in Nemesis who had the experience to be comfortable as to who he is post-Traveler.
Nope, viewable internationally - https://intl.startrek.com/videos/watch-the-first-installment-of-the-ready-room-0
I watched this and found it enjoyable. Will did a pretty decent job and the interviews were very interesting. I'll continue watching.....
Unfortunately, the YouTube version is Geoblocked, which means I can only watch it on pc or phone. Very annoying, and one of the main reasons I only watched bits of the Disco ready room.
Nice! Though it reminds me of "Doctor Who Confidential" where they wax fancy over the episode that had just aired (a glorified plot synopsis). Regardless, it is nice to see. I wish he'd also continue his book series reviewing the show, beyond the first dozen episodes of season one... maybe the initial volume didn't sell well? He did say he was working on the second volume at the time...
