I could see them doing this on planets that they are actively taking over or attempting to remind who it in charge (like Ghorman or Lothal). Also holidays (Empire Day) would have that plastered everywhere. Most place we see in the films are Imperial bases, or units operated under Darth Vader, who would rather just do the thing, rather than advertise for Palpatine.

Post-Endor, I could see them doing it for pride. The Empire lives through them, and they are not as careful as the Rebels use to be with their symbols.

Yeah, the original Galactic Empire and the post-Jakku Imperial factions in Disney continuity takes more open inspiration from the "bad guy" historical regimes, like the Nazi Germans, Soviet Russians, and Imperial Japanese (who liked to pompously project their emblems everywhere, a visual form of corruption and brainwashing that Andor liked to satirize or comment on more than the OT films).

You also must take into account the now historical era the OT was produced in, where logos and branding was more sparingly used in comparison to the insane branding we got everywhere since maybe the turn of the 2000s.

Just like in Star Trek, the Starfleet arrowhead is everywhere in modern productions to the point that it seems to be used very sparingly in the "legacy era" by comparison.

I watched the first three episodes of The Acolyte tonight. It's not the worst thing ever, but right now it's not good to average. I watched the infamous "Power of One, Power of 2" scenes and taken in context, it's a big galaxy of course people are going to discover and use the force through different interpretations. Apparently, Clone Wars dealt with this and it's been like 6 years since I saw clone wars so I forgot. It's kind of like interpretations of things of various religions. I do think the singing and chanting was a little cringy, but the idea around it was interesting and could have been explored in a more interesting way. I think the thing that took me out of the episode was Mae starting the fire, all the witches dead and just how fast the fire moved with just stone and metal.

I am going to keep with it to see how the overall series holds, but it's not ruining Star Wars. It's merely an outlier right now.

Just watched up to episode 7 and I'm not a fan of this series. The choices made in episode 7 and the revelations kind of undermined the entire season up to this point. Also, I don't think the Jedi are portrayed really well here at all.

I'm going to still complete it, but the things I wanted to like about it are too few. I feel like they barely scratched the surface with what they actually wanted to tell.

Pretty sure that's the point. It's the start of their descent into the complacent Jedi we see in the prequels.

Yeah. I guess I just wish things were written better in this series. I actually didn't mind the finale but this is a series I don't think I will be watching again.

I see this said a lot, but I think that misses the point. These Jedi mess up and become myopic and lose focus. That doesn't condem all Jedi.
