American Girl just had their fall release and I wanted almost every damn thing. I restrained myself and bought four outfits (yay gift card!). The other things I want are going on my Christmas wish list. :p

    That'd make a nice spaceship.

I managed to save a bit of money for some books--The blow-out while driving meant it went to the tire shop instead.

I friend of mine said it looked like a Star Wars gadget. I think had it been made of metal and shiny yeah I would totally agree.

Thanks, but it's also passive parenting ... until I am learning to code at midnight on October 30!

It was my birthday yesterday, and I used my birthday money to get this

A Wii U and 4 games (Console itself not shown, because its hooked up to the TV). I figured its pretty cheap now, I've never had it, and even with a Switch the Wii U has a few exclusives I'd want to play, and a bunch of games that are almost identical to the Switch ports but are much cheaper. It also has the Virtual Console, which is cool. I've already been having fun with it, and with most of the games being pretty cheap, it will be easy to get a game library I want.

From what I've noticed so far a few hours. Online says 3-5, and that seems to fit with my limited experience. The range is pretty good. I'd originally had it under my TV (which is on a piece of furniture that has a few shelves and a glass door), but I couldn't move much past my room without losing gamepad signal. After taking the Wii U out of there and putting it up a bit higher (and not inside anything) the gamepad can get a clear signal anywhere inside the house, so there are a bunch of games I can play anywhere in the house just on the gamepad, which is nice.
