Your latest purchases, cont.

Guardian Of The Galaxy pin. I wanted a Ravagers pin, but they didn't seem to have one. I like the flame design, the pin is pretty neat :) Anyone else have one?

My latest acquisitions were birthday presents. I ordered them using our joint account, so they’re count as both purchases and presents
A. 3 books, all pre owned.

Let’s go Dizzy, the story of the Oliver Twins
The Writers Tale, RTD
The Rainhill Trials

I also bought a British Rail fork from a gift shop on a day out.

Newest arrivals.

*Arya with two headed spear pop

*Snoopy: Journey to Deep Space stamps from Australia Post. I ordered these stamps about three months ago. The first lot they sent got lost somehow (yes, Australia Post managed to lose their own parcel). The replacement set I received today was meant to be here 2 weeks ago. I bought the set to go with the Snoopy Pop which I bought about four months ago. Both items were bought out to honour the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing.

*Lost Bird of Wounded Knee. This is the true story about a little baby girl who was found alive under her dead mother 4 days after the Massacre of Wounded Knee (1890). Rather than return her to her people an army general decided to ‘adopt’ her. She went on to lead a sad and tragic life.

Did you lose all of your data?
not all. I used that pc as storage space for my audiobooks, ebooks, movies and photos. I can download all books again - no prob, only time consuming. Of most of the pics I have backups. Sadly not of all. The movies are lost - I loaded them down from youtube but with their newest policy this has gotten difficult. I have a free downloader for the new youtube software but it converts the movies in real time which takes ages.
Still, no big harm done. It's an inconvenience but no catastrophy

I bought this puzzle. It's laser cut wood the same as the other puzzles Ugears makes. They make some fantastic complicated stuff that I am not at all game to even try to build. But anyway I bought this. It's called a "Flexi Cubus" and it's fantastic. Went together really nicely and works just as described.

Please excuse the brightness was taken with a cellphone.

My latest purchases are a bit nostalgic. I bought four dvd boxsets. Three of them are tv shows from my childhood and the fourth one is something that I never watched growing up but I did own the official annual. The imagery really stuck in my mind:
